Have you ever been benched? And if you have, were you enraged because you KNEW that you were really good at football, volleyball, or whatever sport you played? Well, that's what I feel like daily. You're probably thinking that's a bunch of cheesy crap, but it's how I feel every day. I get pushed around daily and even my best friend calls me a doormat. I can't seem to do anything right, whether it's my social status or my relationships (both friends and boys), and I feel like I'm the universe's personal trash can. It seems that the world dumps whatever universal garbage at my face. My point is, MY LIFE SUCKS!
I forgot to tell you my name! I'm Lucy Allen, and I'm the biggest social reject(and also not) at Scarlet High School. I live in the small town of Scarlet, California, and pretty much everyone knows each other, so everyone knows me as the complete social outcast. People will say things like "I'm having a party tonight, and everyone who's name isn't Lucy Allen is gonna be there!" or, "Don't forget to watch your children or they will become like that pitiful Allen child!". You would think that they were talking about a different person if you had just moved there, but two days later, BAM! You're caught up. And the most cliche part of it is that my older brother ,Hunter, is the most popular guy at school, He's on the Varsity football team (the captain, to be exact), has amazing looks, and can get an A on any test and still manage to party till 2 am. To top all that off, my parents are perfection in human form. Their lives were like carbon copies of any high school romance novel. The perfect kind where a football player meets a cheerleader and sparks fly. Sometimes I wonder why my parents gave birth to me at all, because they're always trying to not be seen with me. They stopped their "cool genes" when Hunter was born. They're always saying that my naturally curly, dark brown hair is beautiful and that they go with my big, chocolate brown eyes, and I know that, but beauty and popularity can either help each other or fight each other. Hunter and my parents get version one, while I get version two. The sad thing is, this if i was just a little bit more of an extrovert, then maybe I would have the "cool genes" that the rest of my family has. But the problem with that is that even if I try just a little bit, the universe decides that it's done with its lunch and throws away the disgusting trash into the bin. A.K.A, me.
But anyway, that's enough about who I am, and let's hear the story of how my life changed.
Hey guys! This is the first time that I'm sharing my stories with the public, but I will only continue updating if people like it, so vote, comment, and tell me if I should keep going or not. Bye!
