•two days later•

"I have something to tell you.. it's not really that important.. but I figured I should tell you" Ethan said

"What ??" I asked sitting criss cross on the couch.

"I have to go back to Jersey for a few days for Thanksgiving" he said

"Okay.. so are you leaving today?" I asked

"Tonight" he said

"When are you coming back??" I asked

"Saturday" he said

Today is Tuesday ...

"Okay.." I said nodding

"I'm on my way over " he said then hung up.

After A good 10 minutes, the front door opened and Ethan walked in.

I stood up and walked towards him hugging him.

"I'll see you in a few days baby" he said

"What if you like.. die or something??" I asked looking up at him.

"Then I'll be sure to haunt you for jinxing me" he said kissing me.

I sigh as we break the kiss.

"Just a few days" I say mostly to myself.

"I'll call you at night and text you it's going to be fine.. I'll be back before you know it" he said and I nodded

"Days are so much longer without you" I said

"Next time I go to jersey I'll bring you to meet the fam also okay??" He asked running his hands down my arms to my hands and grabbing them.

"Okay" I said nodding

He pecked my forehead and then hugged me once more.

"Bye baby girl see you soon" he said

"Bye.. see you soon" I said pecking his lips and he glared at me.

I roll my eyes and kiss him and hold it for a good minute before breaking it off.

"Bye" he said walking out.

"Bye" I replied

No. I'm not saying that.. I don't know why o feel the need to say it but I really do.

He walks out the door, shutting it behind him and I hear him driving away.

I mean.. maybe it's just an instinct.. maybe I'm too attached to him..

I don't know. I don't think I love him .. I don't know maybe I do.

He's just.. perfect.
