Weird Things About America

America is weird

America is very weird. One of the main things I don't get about America right now is how in the world we ened up with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as the presidential candidates and how Trump some how managed win?
People are really mad about it and to be honest I don't really care because both of them are terrible. Who knows maybe (hopefully) Trump will be a good president. Also another thing I don't understand is that, for the 2 final candidates to end up as those 2 idiots, most of America must have voted for them in the first place! So for the amount of people mad about Donald Trump winning, things don't exactly add up. I mean most of the people mad about him winning didn't even vote! 49% of Americans didn't vote this election yet they're all so mad the candidate they wanted didn't win. I mean it's really they're own fault.
It's seems like the next election might be worse though, looks like it will be Kanye West vs. Yeezy. I mean what even???

Then there is our langue, (this isn't as Weird as this year's election but still). Half of the words are spelled so weird and are hard to remember how to spell them. For example, the word, dialogue, shouldn't it just be spelled dialog? I mean I don't get it! Or how things like soccer are called football in litteraly every other country except here. And how we do have a sport called football here it's just not the same one!

There's also the fact that people are to afraid to speak they're honest opions anymore because things basically go, you just go with what society says or have to no friends. And it honestly sucks. I mean I thought this was a free country. Yet kids and adullts are put under things like pier pressure and crap. Stuff like that needs to stop.

One thing I do like about America though is that we have things like Thanksgiving and other holidays (that other cointries don't have) that give us excuses to get off from school and work. Thats not the only reason why, obviously thanksgiving is pretty important, but I did hear, that the pilgrims kind of just tricked the native Americans then stole they're land and the only thing they did was cook them dinner in return. Although I also heard the Cilvil war wasn't even about slavery. Those are most likely not true, but these are things we will never know the 100% truth about anyway  being that they happened 100's of years ago. ( just to be clear i don't believe those thing, it's just random stuff I heard). So, I'm not gonna go with those things and I will just keep believing what we are taught about thanksgiving and the Cilvil war instead.

Over all I just think America is weird place.
