Quizzing Turned Dangerous

Chapter 1

It was a day like any other, I had just waken up and went to get my phone from my mom's room. As usual, I turned on Pandora, and brought up QuizUp, a gaming app that has become one of the most used apps on my phone. I was going through all the notifications I had gotten while I was asleep when I saw one out of the ordinary. It was a comment on my night post, from a name I had never seen before, reading, "Are you ready?" I was confused, partly because I was sure this person didn't follow me, and couldn't see posts on my private profile, so I replied, "Ready for what?" And that, is when my life changed forever. I immediately received a reply saying, "That, is what you're about to find out." I prepard myself for something, anything, to happen, but nothing did. I then went through the rest of my morning routine, getting ready for school. I left the same time as usual, and as I got in my car, I was suddenly overcome by fatigue.
When I awoke, I was sitting in a completely white room, wearing a black ninja suit, and I didn't have my glasses. I discovered that my vision seemed to have been fixed, and upon closer inspection of my clothes, I discovered my phone, and the all new bluetooth AirPods by Apple, which had yet to come out in stores. Unlike the ones that were coming out, however, these didn't need to be charged. I put in my AirPods and turned on Pandora, turning to my default station, Summer Hits of the 2000s. I then got up and proceeded to explore the room. I discovered a door hidden in the wall, something I never would have normally noticed, and I wondered how I had found it. I opened the door amd walked through, right into a room identical to mine. This room, however, was empty, or so I thought. I sensed something flying at me, and did a backflip over what I discovered was an arrow flying at me. It hit the wall behind where I had been standing just a minute before, and I was surprised that I had dodged it. Well, when I looked around, I still couldn't see anybody, but I noticed that part of one wall was different than the rest. I walked over, and saw that this was actually a hidden nook, and the person I found inside I would have recognised anywhere. She was wearing leggings, boots, and a white t-shirt, which made me wonder how I ended up in a ninja suit.
"Chloe?! Is that you?!" I almost shouted at the girl I found crouching in the nook.
"Who's asking?" was the reply that I received. Being the smartass that I am, I had to think of a different response. So, instead of replying, I uncovered my face, and was immediately tackled in a hug. "Rashaun?" I was asked, as though she couldn't believe it was actually me.
"That's my name, don't wear it out," was the reply I immediately said, without thinking. "Oops, sorry. That just came naturally to me. Anyways, how did you get here, and how long have you been here?" I asked Chloe.
"I had a strange comment on one of my posts from a name I'd mever seen, and I ended up here. As for how long I've been here, I'd say long enough to have discovered this bow, and all these arrows, along with some extra quivers." Chloe then showed me all the extra quivers she had stashed in the nook. "If you want, I can show you where I found these," Chloe offered.
"I'd love that. Maybe I'll find something that suits me," I replied. Chloe led me over to a door in the same wall as the nook, and opened it. She flipped on a light switch, and I immediately rushed over to a rack of swords. I looked around, saw a strange bag, and brought it over. I picked out a sword and sheath, and put it on, then, almost as if by instinct, I out the other swords in the bag, and they all fit. I picked up another bag just like this one and tossed it to Chloe. "It'll hold an infinite amount of items," I told her, "Just put anything you want to carry in the bag, and it'll hold it all." She put all the extra quivers she could find in the bag, and we set out to explore the building we were in, with no idea what lay in store for us.
