Chapter 2
One morning as Reid was about to leave for work he wasn't paying attention and Haylee stuck a "Kick Me" sign on his back. The night before, Haylee braided a few strands of Spencers hair as a joke. He must have forgotten to take it out because some pieces were still there. Reid left for work he dropped Haylee off at college before he arrived. When Reid arrived at work Morgan gave him a little kick on the back of the leg.
"Ow what was that for!" Reid exclaimed.
Morgan pulled off the taped piece of paper with almost identical handwriting to Spencers.
"Kick Me" Reid recited from the paper.
"Reid, why would you write this and put it on your back?" Morgan questioned
"I didn't write it!" Reid protested
"Then who did!?" Morgan asked
"Probably Haylee, she has been living with me recently and we stayed up all night last night." Reid said
"Oh okay! They sounds so fun!" Morgan answered with excitement.
Morgan went around telling the whole team that Reid got a girlfriend, they were living together and they are up all night. Rossi congratulated Reid.
"Hey I heard you were up all night with a girl Haylee"
"What? Yea..what's special about that?" Reid questioned. He was confused, what is so special about having your sister at your house and playing with her all night.
Morgan walked into the room and stared at Reid
"He pretty boy, you should bring in your girl tomorrow." Morgan said
"I'm going to see if she wants to skip a day of college and come to work with me I don't know...she is only a freshmen." Reid answered.
"Oh she is younger. I never knew you were into younger woman." Morgan said with a smooth tone.
"Wait...what...ugh...nevermind!"Reid said with a confused tone.
Reid continued the day like nothing happened. He wondered what Rossi and Morgan were talking about.
When Reid got home he questioned Haylee
"Did you put this on my back?"
"Well...umm....you learn stuff like that when you're trapped in a house with 6 dull-witted foster brothers." She answered nervously
"Are you going to kick me out?" She questioned
"No! I thought it was hilarious! I would never kick my little sister out!" Reid answered with a little laugh.
"Hey Spence..." Haylee said quietly
"Yea? What's up?" He replied
"I-I-I love y-you." She said with his innocent eyes looking at the ground
"I love you too Haylee" He was quick to answer.
He looked at her with his innocent chocolate brown eyes, as she looked back at him with the exact same innocent deep brown eyes.
