"Lisa, wanna go to the park?" Grandma said. "Yeah!" 6 yd Lisa said cheerfully smiling.
7 Years Later..........
Grandmas health was bad but as time passed, Grandmas health was becoming worst.
One night, grandma had suddenly fell on to the ground, shaking. Vincent immediately call 911 for help. They arrived as fast as possible, while getting her the stretcher, suddenly out of nowhere she started to have a heart attack. They hurried her to the hospital.
Lisa woke up to her dad talking on the phone. He sounded troubled but sad at the same time. Lisa trying to listen, was confused and tired. She fell back asleep, not knowing anything.
Lisa and her siblings woke up, got ready and went to school. While in school, Lisa kept thinking about what could her dad have said on the phone and why did he sound like that?
As time passed, school was over. Lisa's dad picked up her and her siblings. While driving he hesitated then said, "Grandma's in the hospital. I'm going to see her later on. Who wants to go with me?" They were surprised. They all questioned dad. With little explanation, they understood how serious it is. Lisa didn't want to go, she is filled with hate towards her grandma.
Later on when they got home, Drew and her dad left to go see grandma. As the day went on, Lisa couldn't get the thought of grandma in the hospital out of her head. Lisa went to her room, laid down on her bed and started to think. Lisa could only remember the bad times, she felt nothing and didn't feel anything but hatred.
As 2 day have passed by, she finally went to go visit her grandma with all her siblings. They walked into the building. Her dad was waiting for them and took them to the 3rd floor. Right as soon as they reach the 3rd floor they go into the ICU.
They walk towards her room. As they enter, they see her in a very sad state. There she was, laying on the bed with tubes connected to her, still unconscious. Lisa finally felt something other than hate. She started to tear up. She held it in.
Lisa knew it might be the last time she ever sees her grandma so she took pictures to remember her grandma. It'll be the last picture she ever had of her grandma and her together. Lisa stopped and looked up at her grandma from her phone. She felt like she was gonna cry. She walked out the ICU tearing up. She walked to the lounge area and sat down. She sat there going through some pictures of her grandma and rethinking as to why she hates her grandma so much.
Her family stayed late until there was nobody else but them. Before leaving they went to see grandma one more time. Lisa's family entered the room and talked to grandma. "Grandma, we'll be leaving now. We'll visit you again tomorrow. Stay strong!" Then they walked out the building and drove home. As they stopped at the traffic light, Lisa turned back and stared at the 3rd floor.
Next Day....
As Lisa and her siblings were in school, they were suddenly pulled out from class one by one. They wondered why?
As they got in the car, they questioned their Dad. He replied saying, "We're going to see grandma. Your uncle, Vincent, had a dream about grandma saying that shes ready to go. That she's going to die. I said to him, it's only a dream and that he must be crazy. Today they said they'll take her off life support."
They arrived at the hospital. They rushed inside. Dad asked if they took her off life support yet. They still didn't yet. As a few minutes passed by, they finally took her off life support. They said that she's doing fine! Lisa was happy. She went to go see grandma. She walked into the room, shy and timid, grandma was still unconscious. Lisa walked up to her bed and said to her,"Hi grandma. It's me, Lisa. I hope your doing good. Get better so that we can lived together again. You know Lily said that she's going to buy a house big enough for you." Of course, she couldn't hear Lisa with her little voice, still unconscious. Lisa patted grandmas head and kiss her forehead.
Later on....
Aunt Mill's phone rang, Aunt Mill picked up her phone. She shouted out crying, "Hurry, grandma isn't breathing!!!!" People ran in after her. Lisa ran in. She couldn't enter the room. She stood outside the room. She felt like crying but wanted to stay strong.
Outside the room, were lots of people crying. Many were crying and few weren't. Lisa saw nurses and doctors rushing in trying to get her to be stable. At that point Lisa started to cry. She couldn't hold it in anymore. So many things were going through her head. She knew that at that moment, it'll be the last day.
They couldn't get her to be stable. On the monitor, the heart beat was dropping. A doctor walked in and said, "I'm going to give her morphine. It'll slow it down so you can say your goodbyes to her." The doctor injected it and left the room. People slowly went in to say their goodbyes. A bunch of people still weren't allowed in yet.
Then suddenly, grandma started to bleed heavy. Now the cries were even louder than before. They called the nurse to clean up grandma. They clean her up as quick as they can. Lisa knew that her grandma wasn't gonna make it and that it's over....
Finally Lisa got to go in. The people outside the room entered. They crowded the room, surrounding the bed. Lisa and her siblings, next her. People were saying their goodbyes. Lisa and her siblings didn't say a thing but kept crying. Lisa wanted to say something but just could not bring herself to say anything. She felt foolish to say anything because of how much hate she had for her grandma.
As time was ticking, Lisa finally said something. "Grandma.....I, Grandma"Lisa said crying uncontrollably. "I lov....you. I lo-love you gran-grandma. Ple-please don't, don't go!" Lisa screamed, breaking down and stuttering. Lisa heard a huge beeping sound. As Lisa looked up at the monitor, nothing, there was nothing, no pulse, the nurse came in and unplugged the monitor. Everyone had cried even harder and some were throwing themselves on grandma, saying to take them with her. She was dead.....
A year later......
At a cemetery, someone walks up to a grave. They sit down in front of the grave and start to place flowers and take to out food. "Um hi, grandma! I came to visit you today. It's me, Lisa remember!" Lisa said tearing up. "Remember when you would take me to the park. Cause I still remember it. You know today, I had a dream about you. We played games and then you said "I'll be okay now, I love you. Goodbye",then you walked on stairs up to the sky. I really miss you. There's something I need to tell you..............I'm sorry for hating you. I have so many regrets." Lisa's voice cracked and tears started to fall down her face. "I wish I treasured those moments with you more. I wish I treasured your existence more. I wish you were still with us. I'm that I couldn't be more involved in your life, I'm sorry that you had a grandchild like me who hated you so much. I miss you so much. I love you very much grandma." Lisa said crying. " These regrets are now just a memory of us that I'll live with. Your death will be my punishment."
