November 18: DARE

I didn't mean for it to happen I guess
But she wasn't herself that night in the dark
It was late and I needed rest
But the problem was
That I didn't think
My heart fluttered for just a second
And before I could blink
Soft lips were pressed against my own
On some self-induced dare
That came from some corner of her mind
But I didn't care
Until fifteen and a half seconds later
When I realized what I had done
But she looked at me like I was pretty
And it was so much fun
That moment when
I felt her skin
And wanted to kiss her all over again
