The Globe That Shone Like The Stars

A tall skinny boy with short messy black hair, wearing a school uniform, thick black framed glasses and a dark brown leather satchel ran through the damp dimly lit streets. His shoes sloshed as they hit puddles lining the sidewalk. turning the corner into a dark alleyway he made his way through the darkened backstreet. The boy tripped on something hard and fell face first into the damp gravel ground, knocking off his glasses. He grasped desperately for his lost spectacles when his hand brushed on something cool and smooth like a ball, he squinting he studied the peculiar object. To his surprise it was a beautiful snow globe that had a purple planet inside with a swirl of pink and white mixed into the purple and a ring around it, he recognized the planet as jupiter. As he thought the word the globe glowed a faint blue and played a beautiful melody making the world seem to stop around him. He blinked and the globe lay silent and dark, "must be seeing things" he whispered as he pocketed the globe. Finally his hand came across the frame of his glasses and put them on. As he got out of the alleyway and ran across to his house, bumping into a tall boy with blackish hair with brown tips.
this guy looked pretty pissed after he bumped into him.
"watch where ya going you freaking nerd!"
was his only comment before walking away with what looked like to be a large crystal in his hand.
Flustered by the strangers rude comment and peculiar crystal he strode across the damped lawn to his front door. He shut the door behind him as he pulled off his damp sneakers and walked towards the oaken staircase of his warm home.  "Juno is that you?" called a woman's voice from the kitchen holding a ladel and wearing oven mitts with pink hearts. "Hey mom! Sorry I'm a bit late, I had to pick up the text books for school tomorrow." "Oh alright son, Make sure you clean up before dinner you're soaked to the bone!" Juno strolled upstairs to his room and took off his damp clothing, he threw on a black and white shirt with a alien on it and a pair of black sweat pants. Walking over to his dresser he carefully placed the snow globe next to the shells and polished rocks he collected around greece. "Hey big brother where did you get that snow globe?" Said Ari, juno's younger sister.
Juno jumped in surprise but answered "I found it in an alleyway I thought It would make a nice addition to my collection, just don't touch it okay? I don't want you breaking it." Ari sighed "whatever" and walked down the stairs to dinner. After dinner Juno took out the trash behind his house, were he could see the mountain side at the edge of the city. As juno turned to go back inside he heard a rustling coming from behind him, and he snapped his head back to see what was making that noise but came face to face with a pair of piercing yellow eyes.
