Poem #3

She bottles everything up
Holding it inside
She tries to burry it deep
But its hard to hide

For nobody knows
She cries herself to sleep
If she let anyone in
She would start emotion sweep

She wishes just one
Just one person knew
But the that's hard to do
When the friends you have are few

She always has a bubble
In the back of her throat
If she spoke
She would croak

Her eyes always burn
Her cheeks are always wet
And the worst part is
No ones noticed yet

Then one day
She bumps into a boy
He smiles down at her
Filling her heart with joy

This feeling is short
When he looks at her twice
He is disgusted
She looks not-so-nice

Because her red eyes
Burn into this boy
He pushes her away
And moves on to a new toy

She cries again that night
Her wall has been breached
She goes to sleep, permanently
She drank bleach

--------------------------------------

Little did she know
The boy she bumped into
Was not disgusted, but annoyed
For the girl he once dated showed up on cue

He loved the one he bumped into
And wanted to say
But the girl from the past
Got in the way

When he found out her travesty
He knelt down and cried
For he knew he would save her
If he only tried

He went to her house
Into her room, to loom at her past
He saw the tear stain
And new he should have been with her at last

He laid in her spot
Hugging her wet pillow
Then watched as they dragged her away
Where she lay under the willow

He knew she was in pain
But that she ended it for her
Although he understands
The pain he now feels, has no cure

Through all the suffering
He holds his head high
Thinking of her always
And what would happen if he were only to try
