You

Damage does death and destruction

Bringing pain and obstruction.

Never moving forward, crying by the graves,
Mourning over the fallen slaves.

Hugging their knees to their chests

We must bring ourselves to pass these tough tests.

You look fine but inside, this pain is like a drug
Not knowing it, but when we lose someone we are filled with this bug.

It's hard to imagine, how a life without you would be,
When those nightmares become a reality, you see.

When you begin to toss and turn,
And your heart and soul are beginning to burn.

You die each time someone says his name,

You give yourself all the blame.

Slump in your chair not a soul cares.

Chase the dark run it to the ground and stand above these nightmares.

You heard the sirens, ringing in your head,
Screeching, waking your dreams, ripping you from bed.

When you saw him, limp on the ground, people rushing all around.

As you fell, upon your head fell the crown as its pieces shattered down.
The crown, once an ornamental symbol of authority, in a pit.
Now shattered to pieces taking your heart with it.

You watched him, packed out out of his home,
Sealed In a forever lonely, dying dome.

Sitting waiting in the lobby forever,
They bring out the news, he has failed to endeavor.

Stricken through your heart, Bang, like a gunshot.

I guess he must leave, I never would have thought.

Farther away a different conundrum takes place,
She gets picked on, teased, all because of her face.

When she goes home, thinking everything will be fine
But she logs onto that computer, and the screen sends a shiver up her spine.

She deletes the messages, one after the other
One from Lisa, Nick, Alice and even her own brother.

It's not a bother, she doesn't care.
For every night tears splatter everywhere.

Holding it in, she's about to blow
She bottles so much of it up, so know one will know.

One day, it hits her hard, like a tsunami.

"Why, am I still living? Still here. Someone please help me!"

Her heart stops, half a beat.
She falls hard off her feet.

Across the planet, it seems,
A boy who was born sick, hides his dreams.

Hiding in the closet, hiding behind those doors.

He fights a hard battle, unwinnable wars.

One lonely evening he jumps from the closet,

But sadly he's frowned upon, not even the leaves applauded it.

It's okay, his hopes weren't that high anyways,
Now he can go back into hiding for the rest of his days.

These sad souls, cry every night into their pillows.

Hoping one day when they are buried beneath the willows,

The Leader from above can help them, in some way.

He's already watching and what does he have to say?

You're not immortal, you get hurt, you die.

If you decide to let go, then the end is nigh.

Don't run away, don't try to hide,
For the answer is hidden deep inside.

Look to the stars, the clouds the sky
Wipe the tears that stained your face, dry.

Stand up, hold your head high
Hit it where it hurts, strike the bullseye.

The pain is an obstruction, blocking your way
To end the harsh battle the fear must be cast away.

I know how this is for you, it hurts, it's hard

Come over it,win the battle, en garde!

Yesterday was different, this is a new start
Jump into life, tear it apart.

Strut into war, this is your battle.

Pick yourself up, get back in the saddle.

Sing you winning anthem

You can continue, for you're made from platinum

So one day, when you leave your homes
Do not fear for you will not be sleeping with the bones

You will take residents, high in the sky.

And me? I'll be by your shoulder, right by your side.

Did you like it? Did you cry?
Tell me. I MUST KNOW!!!!!
