The Lady of my Life

Quarrels, wrangles and bickers,

Can I get any more sicker?

But there she stands with a smile,

With her marvelous beauty like river Nile...

When the world leaves me in solitude,

She wipes my tears, fading my fears,

Murmuring words in my ears,

Showing her eternal optimistic attitude...

She is the one, who held me tight,

The one who taught me

To stand and fight....

Her charisma is like the alluring morning glory,

My unfaltering wall, the one who recedes my worries...

In my downfalls, In my defeats

In my joys, In my feats,

She stood there like a beacon of hope,

Like a candle, she illuminated my paths...

I am not perfect nor is she,

But for me, she is my angel.

A gift of God to me,

Who gifted me to this world...

And now, from my deepest part of my heart,

I pray to God, to never make us apart...

And when I am tired,

From this world, From my life

From their wraths, their gibes,

Her intense eye makes me

Forget all of that...

She understands my motion,

My true friend,

Who knows my emotions...

Because at the end of the day

When I come home,

She is the only one who stands there at the door.

My hope, My faith, My angel,

She is the best in the world,

She is my sweet Mom...

This poem is dedicated to the best person in this world, my sweet Mom.

Isn't every mom is special?

Well Mom, 1000 books can't describe you but I can say only one thing

I love you...and

Thank you!
