Luciel grabbed the thickest antique book from her father's study shelf. It took most of her energy and will to tiptoe on her foot just to grab the history of Amaryllis' country. She carefully pulled it out from the third shelf, cautious as to not have it drop flat on her face. 

The young mistress had an examination this upcoming Tuesday and she did not want to upset her father. She knew that he had loved studying the subject of History and she somehow felt the same way.

She wanted to learn more about the history of Amaryllis, a huge peninsula in the shape of a distorted circle. Consisting of four regions bordered equally mixed with the poor and the rich, she had already studied the circumstances of those three regions.

She wanted to understand more of the last region, which was the Wyvern.

From the richest to the poorest, the regions had been ranked by that order. Sitting at the bottom right side of the region was the richest district, the St. Lucis. She had been born into a wealthy lifestyle in St. Lucis and couldn't be anymore grateful for living under great conditions. 

She was a good daughter, loved to help other people when she is actually the most youngest respected mistress of all.

Most of the citizens knew her from the other three regions.

Some men wanted to marry her even though she had just turned twenty and of course she kindly rejected their offer. Some people admired her potential of striving for success. Some were even jealous of the young mistress despite her status, but she claimed that they are all equal living in different stories.

Some men even had the audacity to kidnap the young mistress and even her. It was like discovering a rare treasure found in the deepest and darkest section. Crimes often occur in Amaryllis and wherever the rich travelled, but luckily she was trained surreptitiously under hidden conditions from her father.

They've managed to keep this a secret from her mother.

Her father knew that guarding his youngest daughter all the time would be impossible. He knew he couldn't depend on his guards into protecting his youngest daughter all the time and she believed the same. 

He had his full trust in his guards, but sometimes it was one man to himself. She had to protect herself because who knows that one of the guards might fall one day.

Sometimes it was difficult in trying to act like a lady when she's been under tough circumstances. She had undergo tight training of self-defense and a little bit of muscle training.

Luciel had attended archery lessons privately with the most known archer in Amaryllis. She even had attended running sessions to elevate her breathing system and to be fit.

She has been constantly ranked as one of the top five pupils in her school.

Luciel placed the heavy antique book on the table, bringing her diary close as she picked up her favourite vintage ink pen gifted from her mother. It was still an early seven evening, meaning that she had two hours of studying for this test before her examination in four days.

The young mistress sat comfortably as the stone fireplace warmed her concentration, igniting her workspace as bright as possible.

Dropping the pen into the ink pot for a limited time, she began to multitask by writing and flipping through the pages. Most of her written pages had included the three regions and travel for experience.

St. Lucis is the richest and wealthiest region that sat at the bottom right side of the peninsula. Followed by that was Scientia on the upper section of St.Lucis; mixed with a ratio of 1:2 of the rich and poor. The third region was Clematis, found in the upper left beside Scientia.
