Savannah's P.O.V.
The next morning I woke up with a scream, my body and be drenched with swear. Before I could calm down, all the memories of yesterday came back, along with flashbacks from 5 years ago, i.e. the first time I met my psycho stalker. My heart raced and I felt like I couldn't breathe. I rocked back and forth on my bed, trying to calm down. I used to get panic attacks all the time after the incident. I know how to deal with them. Soon I was breathing normally and I got up, went into my kitchen and had breakfast. When I was done I cleaned everything up and got ready to leave for work. I left my apartment and began the walk to work. As I walked through the complex entrance someone grabbed my arm and pinned me against the wall. "where do you think you're going sweetheart?" the man slurred, clearly drunk. This time I was quicker to react, I kicked my stalker in the nuts and ran.
I didn't stop running until I reached Riker's house. I knocked on the door, forgetting about my key, and as soon as the door opened I shot inside and hid in the lounge. I was shaking like crazy. 'I shouldn't have kicked him! I'm going to pay for that later!' I thought, a few tears slipped down my cheeks. 'I can't believe this is happening again'. Suddenly I heard a voice calling me. A smooth, swoon - worthy voice that always calmed me down. "Vanni? Babe? you o.k.?" Riker called. I wiped the tears from my face and crawled out of my hiding place. He saw me and pulled me into a hug. When we pulled apart, he looked me straight in the eyes and asked "what happened?" we stayed like that for what felt like an eternity. It took everything I had not to break down and tell him everything. But I knew I couldn't. I knew what he'd do if he found out my secret, and I knew what my stalker would do to him. I wasn't about to let my boyfriend get himself killed. "Nothing" I said finally, and with that I left the house before Riker could stop me or ask me any more questions. I will never let him find out my secret. Even if it means not seeing him anymore......
Riker's P.O.V.
She left...... she just, left. No "I love you" , no goodbye kiss, nothing. I was left standing in the lounge like an idiot, not knowing what had just happened. "Everything O.K.?" I heard Rocky ask as he came into the room. "I...... Yeah," 'No' . I turned and walked out of the lounge and upstairs, a confused look plastered on my face. Something was wrong with Savannah. She was white as a sheet and shaking like crazy when I hugged her and when I looked into her eyes, I could tell she'd been crying. As I sat on my bed and began to strum my guitar, I made up my mind. I had to find out exactly what was going on. I had to help Vanni, even if she didn't want it. that night, after dinner, I texted Vanni asking her if she wanted to go on a dinner date this Saturday. She immediately replied saying yes. But there were no kisses or emojis on the end of the text. She always uses emojis. I locked my phone and went to bed with a smile in my face and full of determination to help my beautiful girlfriend.
