Meet Katilyn Chloe S. Zaragosa. She was your typical "ugly duckling" nerd. She was studying peacefully in her old school but her parents needed to let her transfer. She was a transferee in Monteverde University or mostly known as "MU". One day her parents told her she needed to have an arranged marriage with a man she doesn't love, or worse, she doesn't even know him. She needed a makeover right before she would meet her soon-to-be fiance. She loved someone else but she needed to marry someone else for the sake of their company. The question is... How sure is she that she doesn't love her soon-to-be fiance? Find out!
Nagbago ang itsura niya, nagbago ang pananamit niya, at higit sa lahat, NAGBAGO ANG BUHAY NIYA. Because of that stupid arranged marriage she agreed to, her life changed in a snap. Too much threats, too much obstacles, too much blood in their love story. Can she handle it?
Will she be happy with her decision or will she regret her decision and quit so easily?

PROLOGUE:
Naglalakad siya palapit sakin na nakapamulsa at nakashades.
He looks like the same guy in our old teenager days. The charismatic guy I fell deep for.
Without any word, he grabbed my hand. Pulled me up to stand on my feet.
"Katilyn." He mentioned. He just called me Katilyn. He usually calls me Katie or Katkat.
My forehead creased when I stared at his face. I felt shivers when I knew that he was f*ckin' serious.
"Y-yes?" I tried to say that normally but I can't help but become nervous. This is not our first serious talk but I don't know what's come into me that I felt scared.
"We're over. All I'm waiting for is for you to sign the annulment papers." W-WHAT?! DAFAQ?
"STOP JOKING ME, DAEMON!!!" I stopped at my own feet when he pulled out some papers and a ballpen. To be specific, annulment papers and a Faber Castell ball pen.
He handed them to me and I hesitated to sign them, though I was hypnotized to do so for no actual reason clarifying in my mind. Why did I even sign this junk?!
He suddenly grabbed the papers from my hands and left me dumbfounded, drowning with tears.
Bakit pa ba kasi ako nagpakasal?! Kung hindi lang para sa mga magulang ko.
"ANG TANGA TANGA MOOOOOOO!!!" Sigaw ko sa sarili at sinabunutan ang sarili ko. Bakit ko yun pinirma?! Edi sana akin pa siya ngayon!
Bakit siya nakipaghiwalay?! Nagmamahalan naman kami ah! Maayos naman ang sitwasyon namin ah! GAGO SIYA!
Akala ko kasi.... Akala ko magiging madali ito, akala ko sa isang "I DO" lang ay happily ever after na kami, akala ko walang hahadlang sa aming kasiyahan at pagmamahalan.
Puro akala lang pala....
Hindi ba't sabi nila na nakakamatay daw ang maling akala?
Akala ko madali maging asawa ni DAEMON MONTEVERDE.
