~~Nine~~Part One~~

"Y-you're a m-monster..."

"And you're a faggot that needs to die." It was then that I grabbed the knife and stabbed my father.

~~Real Life~~

I sat up very quickly and looked around the room. I was in the same room that I had fallen asleep in, but Tony was sitting on the bed looking at me with a worried look.

"Kellin, are you okay?"

"T-Tony, I've lied to everyone..."

"What do you mean?"

"My father didn't kill himself...I-I killed him..."

"Kellin, no you..."

"Yes I did Tony, my father had taken the knife from me after I had stabbed him and pulled in out, then he tried to stab me." Tony didn't say anything. "T-Tony..."

"I can't believe you didn't tell me the truth." Tony said standing up and walking away from me.

"Tony, I was scared, I still am." I said standing up as well.

"You still could've told me the fucking truth."

"I told you, I was scared."

"I don't fucking care that you were scared, I'm your best friend, your brother basically, you should have fucking told me."

"I knew you were going to be mad either way."

"I would've thought it was self-defense instead of fucking murder."

"Tony, please, calm down, you're scaring me."

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down Kellin, it's been a year since this has happened and you're just now telling me the truth that you killed your fucking father."

"It was self-defense Tony, he was planning on killing me after he killed my mom and sister."

"I don't fucking care that it was self-defense Kellin, you still should've fucking told me."

"T-Tony, p-please...I-I'm scared, please c-calm down..."

"I told you, don't tell me to fucking calm down." Tony said as he raised his fist.

"Tony...NOOO!" I yelled before Tony punched my face. I fell to the ground clutching my face where Tony had hit and held back the tears threatening to fall. I heard my door slam shut and someone's foot steps disappear down the hall, that was when I burst into tears.

I had somehow managed to fall asleep because the next thing I know is that I'm waking up on the floor of my own room. Everything that had happened last night or early this morning came back to me and I felt like crying, but I didn't because I knew I had to get ready for school. I got up off the floor and got ready for school. Once I had finished getting ready, I heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it!" I heard Tony yell. I grabbed my bag as I walked downstairs and towards the front door. "He's lying to you Vic, take my word for it..."

"Tony, I only lied about one thing." Tony didn't say anything, he just pushed passed me and walked upstairs. I sighed sadly and turned to Vic. "I-I told him the truth about what happened to m-my dad..."

"What did you tell him?"

"Can we talk in your car?"

"Yeah, of course." We both walked to his car and he opened my door for me and closed it once I was in. He then ran to the other side of the car and got in. We both buckled up before he started driving.

"I told Tony that I k-killed my father out of self de-defense." I sad choking on a sob as I remembered what Tony did. Vic didn't say anything for a few minutes and that scared me.

"Please don't cry, I know you didn't kill him on purpose, please stop crying..." I didn't realize that I had been crying until he said that. "W-what did Tony do when he found out?"

"H-he had-d yel-led at m-me, th-then he p-p-punched me..." I said as I cried harder. I felt the car swerve so I'm guessing Vic pulled over and parked the car. I then heard two seat belt buckles come undone and I also heard movement. Soon after, I was pulled into a hug.

"It's okay Kellin, it'll be okay, I'm here, just let it all out..." Vic said as he rubbed my back trying to calm me down. We sat there for who knows how long before I actually calmed down. I sniffled as I pulled away from Vic with my head down. I had also reached up and wiped away the rest of my tears "You going to be okay now?"

"I-I should be..." I said quietly.

"Okay, I should start driving again or else we'll be late for school."

"Yeah, you probably should." We both buckled back up before Vic began driving the rest of the way to the school.
