It was a bitterly cold and cloudy day. A thin coat of frost lay over the grass; glistening as the sun peaked through the clouds. It was mid fall, late September to be more specific. Farrah, a 19 year old girl who lived on her own had beautiful pale white skin with a hint of rosy red cheeks. Her bright blue eyes twinkled as her eyes darted back and forth gazing at the glorious fall scenery. Her long chestnut brown hair was tightly bound in a bun to keep the cold crisp wind from whipping her hair in her face. She was short for a girl her age and you could say a tad bit over weight. Her charismatic smile could ease your worries in seconds. She was selfless, and the most caring soul on earth and she landed her first job interview.

"I can't believe they actually called me back! I literally waited 8 minutes before I received a follow up e-mail."
I had a hard time containing the excitement in my voice as I exclaimed to my best-friend Kayla. Never before did she have a job or let alone apply for any, but she was quick to reassure me,
"They would have been plain right dumb if they didn't e-mail you as fast as they did. Hey didn't you apply for Heavens Inn not Heavenly Host Hotel?"
I thought about Kayla's question for a minute and realized that she was right. I did in fact, apply at Heavens Inn. The only thing I knew about Heavenly Host Hotel or ever wanted to know was that it was on the side of town you really didn't want to end up in, but on the other hand I REALLY needed a job. I had my own car, so the danger factor is reduced by 20% because I won't be walking to and from work. After a couple minutes passed Kayla nudged my arm patiently waiting for my reply. I shook my head to break myself free of my thoughts so I could answer my patient friend.
"I think you are right, but at this point does it really even matter? It's fall and we are the only ones who are still desperately looking for a job. I want to find a half way decent one before summer rolls around and we are forced to work in the dead heat of the summer for 2 or 3 months in some type of warehouse or fast food or anything like that. Plus I'm really not cut out for hard labor"
Kayla had no real applicable reason to argue with what her friend had stressed so she just nodded in agreement and helped her friend pick the perfect outfit for her interview. I had to look sheek and intelligent, but wanted to make sure I looked mature as well. I couldn't show to much skin because I didn't want to come off as a more out going type of girl if you get what I mean. I also couldn't cover up to much skin because I didn't want to come across as uptight and snobby. After what seemed like an endless amount of combinations of outfits we finally decided on the perfect outfit. We picked out a tight maroon pencil skirt with white button up that I tucked into my skirt. It had slight ruffles on the bust. It was chilly outside so I slid into my black pea coat and slid on my black leather knee high boots to complete my look. Kayla and I looked into the mirror surprised at the fashionista that was staring back at us. Kayla looked me up and down once again to make sure everything was perfect. She glanced at me for a second and unbuttoned the second button on my shirt.
"Ahh that's better. Sexy business lady vibes going on here! Perfect you're ready!"
We hugged for a slight second and then rushed out the door so I could drop Kayla off at home before heading across town for my interview.

*TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK*
The hotel lobby was so quiet I could literally hear the sound of the front desk mans watch ticking as the time slowly passed by.
"Next!"
The clerk man shouted.
"You know I am the only one in here right?"
I smugly replied to the peculiar man, the only type of reply I got was a weird twitch of his mustache that happened every few seconds. I walked into what seemed to be the office of the Manager of the hotel and to my dismay the most beautiful lady I have ever seen in my life was staring back at me as I entered the room. The only thought going through my mind was,
"Damn I should have dressed a whole lot more sexy."
I stumbled over my words as a I tried to introduce myself and before I could say my name she had already began.
"Farrah it is right? Well, I am Anastasia, but you may call me Ana if you'd prefer. So I see you're interested in taking over for our front desk clerk man?"
"Uh ye-yes I am."
I stuttered embarrassingly at this goddess standing in front of me. Her skin looked silky and smooth and glowed with everlasting life. Her hair flowed all the way down her back with beautiful bouncy blonde locks of gold. Her teeth were blindingly white as she would ever so often reveal a shimmering grin to whoever had the pleasure of speaking with her. She calmly responded,
"Darling you need to relax a little. Your application is far more impressive then all the other applicants. You are hired."
"Wow that was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be!"
I excitedly stated out loud instead of in my head. Anastasia shook my hand firmly and handed over a set of key and stressed the fact that the keys were highly important to complete my every day duties. Surprisingly, she had already had a scheduled made for me and my first day was tomorrow. October 1st.
