SILENCE

A cooker whistles, a dog barks,
Both seem to have lost their temper.
A child cries, a spoon falls,
Both do not know what is anger.

A sister comes to meet after long years,
The mother and her child are happy,
To their joy, we neighbours have turned a deaf ear,
Simply because we know they are very happy.

He is being scolded by his parents,
His attention probably isn't into studies.
My mother is watching the TV,
My attention too isn't into studies.

A tea-cup seller has been roaming around,
Probably didn't get any customer yet,
The fish seller angrily empties his basket into the gutter,
Probably he too didn't get any customer yet.

A crow has been continuously cawing,
His lover abandoned him maybe,
A dog has been barking on a cat badly,
She ate his last night's spaghetti.

So many noises, various call outs
My mind still feels a strange silence.
Maybe I am in my own thoughts, my own world,
That is why I cannot feel any resonance.
