Chapter 11

Sarah:

I was feeling much better. i took a deeep breath, said a prayer, and climbed out of the van. I felt more refreshed then ever. I think it was because of the weights that were lifted from me. I felt free. I walked towards the set, greeting everybody I saw. They all looked at me with either confusion or  concern. Nabasa na pala nila ung article... I thought to myself. But no matter, I wasn't going to let something like ruin my day or my mood. I was determined to keep everything upbeat and happy. It made me feel better.

"Good Morning Direk!!!!" I called.

"Morning Sarah" She smiled.

"Uhm...Direk? Bakit po napatawag po kayo nung isang araw? may kinailangan po kayo?"

Confusion swept her face. "Anong tawag? hindi naman kita  tinawagan ah..."

"Ano.....? Never mind..." Who could have possibly called me?

I left direk and went over to my tent, looking over my lines. It felt good to be shooting. Sarah parang ang tagal mo nawala, isang araw lang..ito... I laughed to myself. I felt so overly happy, I didn't know why. Probably because it was finally over. I knew I still had some loose ends to tie, but still, I had gotten it all out of my system. 

I read over my lines and smiled. It was a happy scene today. Roan was going to introduce Erick to her parents. I laughed at the thought of what we were going to do. Roan's brothers were hilarious.

I changed clothes, and put make-up on for the take. I went outside, enjoying the fresh air. I look to my right and see Gerald just arriving. He looks up and sees me, concern colouring his face. Ano ba naman ito? Ang saya-saya ko nga eh, nasisira sa mga tao dito...Ok naman ako eh...Tapos na ang pag iiyak ko. Hindi ko na kailangan ang pity. I waved at him. 

"GOOD MORNING KAMAHALAN!!!!!!!!"

Gerald:

I got our of my car, unenthusiastically. I was still worried about Sarah. Okay lang kaya sya? Ng dibo kaya sya ngayon? As I walked through the set, everything seemed much lighter somehow. The crew wasn't as glum, though there was confusion on their faces. Ano kaya to? I waved at Direk, and went straight to my tent. On the way there, I saw Sarah. Ng dito pala sya ngayon. Kamusta na kaya sya? Okay lang ba sya? She smiled at me and waved. I waved back, hestintly, no really sure what to do. She seemed perfectly fine, as if nothing had happened to her. I tried to read her eyes, but they showed the same thing. Determination. 

"Good Morning Kamahalan!!!!!!!!" 

I smiled. "Good Morning Warden!!!"

She laughed and went over to where I was standing. "Kamusta na Gege?"

"Okay lang" I still felt unsure around her. Was this just an act? what was she really feeling?

She picked up on my hesitaion. "Nabasa mo no?" she said quietly.

I didn't know what to say. I just took her in my arms and embraced her.

She seemed surprised at first, but she returned my hug. "Okay ka lang ba, Ge?"

I let go. "Ikaw...okay ka lang ba?"

"Okay na noh! Ito....wag na natin nga pagusapan yan! Napaka OA mo, noh? Grabe naman to makipag dramahan. Best actor ka nga Gerald Anderson."

I laughed. "Ito naman oh, nagiging concerned lang for my leading lady."

She suddenly became serious. "Alam mo Ge, Hindi ko kailangan ang concern mo. Tapos na yung issue na yan eh. Nailabas na ang dalawang sides. Kaya, please, wag ka na maawa sa akin, or maiiyak nanaman ako sa yo."

I nodded, fully understanding what she meant."So anong ginawa mo kahapon?"

"Wala lang...nag babasa sa bedroom...Kayo? anong ng yari dito kahapon?"

"What do you mean?"

"Wala lang...Tumawag kasi si Direk sa akin eh, pero wala naman sumagot...May naging problema ba?"

I blushed. "Uhm...wala naman..."

She noticed my blush. "Hoy, Ge, bakit napablush ka dyan?"

"Uhm, wala. Sige Sarah, alis na muna ako, mag reready lang for the shoot." I walked away as fast as I could.

"Gerald." 

I turned around. "Yes Direk?"

"Ginamit mo ung cellphone ko kahapon, diba? Sino ba tinawagan mo? Si Sarah no?"

"Wala Direk..."

"May gusto ka sa kanya no?"

I said nothing, but my blush gave it all away.

She laughed. "Ikaw Gerald, ang cute mo kapag naiinlove ka. Naku, Bagay naman kayo eh. Nahihiya no? Wag ka mag alala, Ako nalang mag sasabi ka Sarah."

"teka.....ano?"

Direk left with a smile on her face. "SARAH!!!!!!!"
