daryl when he is getting ready to go head out to hunt, despite the fact that he was in a town with walls and safety, part of him didn't believe it, he didn't want to get used to the idea of being safe because sooner or later, your safety would be compromised, it always was. you go to see him before he heads out, arms hugging your body as you stand in the doorway, leaning against it. he glances over at you, raising his eyebrows as you tell him to "stay safe, okay?", he smiles slightly, shrugging softly as he begins to head out.
