-Your P.O.V-

-2 and a half months later-

Columbus, Ohio.

It's about 7 pm, Karma and I leap off the steps of our own tour bus.

My hand covering my eyes for shade as the sun glistens on my face.

We both jump up and down, pumping ourselves up for what's to come tonight.

"You're gonna do great!" Karma excites me with a toothy grin.

"You're gonna do great, my dude!" I reply, smiling just as wide, if not wider.

Karma's long arms wrap around my waist as mine wrap around her shoulder blades.

"Hey...Not to be a downer but.."

My (E/C) blink, my head tilting ever so slightly.

"Have you spoken to Joshua?" Karma sighs, crossing her arms while shrugging and looking up at me.

My pupils move down as does my head, looking at my shuffling feet.

"Uh, n-not r-recently..." I confess, biting my lip.

Karma furrows her brows and places a cold hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." She apologizes quietly.

I grab her hand and place it down at her side.

"It'll be okay."

-Josh's P.O.V-

I wake up at three am in the Netherlands, restless, moving from side to side, trying to even begin to feel sleepy.

I haven't had a good night's sleep in what feels like decades.

My palm glides across my warm face in exhaustion.

I sigh into my sweaty hand and get up for a bottle of water.

Stop. Thinking. So. Much.

Trying my best to be silent, I inch out of bed as I make my way over to the fridge.

As soon as I get a bottle of water, I look up to see Tyler standing behind me.

"Ah!" I shout.

"Josh, it's three in the morning." Tyler yawns while speaking in his tired, morning voice.

"Sorry." I shrug, very awake.

"Can't sleep?" He questions.

I slowly nod my head, looking to the side, avoiding Ty's gaze.

Ty sighs.

Not sure if it's a tone of sadness or annoyance.

"Sorry.." I say again, taking a sip of water.

"Josh-"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Josh, come on."

"Seriously." I say, moving away from Tyler and over to the couch.

"Josh..." Tyler begins for the third time, taking a seat beside me.

"Why don't you just talk to her?" He says.

"She's busy." I reply in a stern voice.

"She misses you."

"You don't know that."

"I do. I'm 100% sure of it."

I lean back, many thoughts entering my head as I try to take them all in.

Maybe she does miss me.

Or maybe I'm just holding her back.

Yeah, that's probably it.

She's living her dream, she's performing right now.

She doesn't have time for you anymore.

"Josh?" Tyler interrupts as he places a hand on my shoulder.

"I-I.."

I sigh before getting up off the leather seat.

"Goodnight."
