We were at the airport and August was getting ready to board his flight
I wanted oh so badly to just go with him, but as badly as I wanted to..I couldn't
"Baybeh don't cry, you makin' me sad."he drug out with a pouted lip
The worst part about him going was that he decided to dress extra daddy-ish to leave me..what kind of torture is that?

"So I'on look good any otha' d-
"Flight one-ninety-seven has arrived, please; in an orderly fashion board your plane..again flight one-ninety-seven has arrived please board the plane." Someone said over the intercom, cutting him off
He glanced down at me before pulling me into a hug and giving my forehead a thousand kisses, before he placed a soft one upon my quivering lips
"I'll call you as soon as I land aight' baybeh." He said holding my hand
I just nodded and wiped away more tears that fell
I was low key heartbroken that he was leaving me
"You ca' always come wit' me, I'll buy tha' ticket mama." He offered but I shook my head 'no'
I decided against telling him my news because he already had a lot on his plate
"Go ahead and go before you miss your flight babe, I don't wanna get in the way of your dreams."
He sighed and placed one more kiss on my lips before he finally started to walk away, tugging my heart strings as he took each step
I watched as he walked towards the plane before something in me clicked, and I needed to get it out. It was kinda risqué but, I wanted to. after all, it was very true..
"Wait August!" I called and he turned to face me with raised eyebrows
"I love you !" I shouted with my eyes closed hoping he'd say it back
My heart pounded and a lump formed in my throat..
"I love you too baybeh!" I heard him yell before he blew a kiss and got on the plane
