"So..how did things go with Mr. Fineass?" Nicole questioned
Nicole was my bestfriend , her smooth Brown skin and natural curly afro seemed to attract everyone
Lets not forget her straight pearly white teeth and sleek curvy body
I chuckled to myself watching as she leaned on my locker waiting for the details
"Mr . Alsina ..was great ." I spoke chuckling
I grabbed my books and began walking down the crowded hallway
I heard her smack her teeth and looked to my side to see that she had paused in the middle of the hallway
"Bitch, give me the details." She spoke finally walking again
I giggled and gave her what she wanted
"We just went to some pizza place, he asked if I needed a ride and I said yeah." I said nonchalantly
Of course I knew what pizza place it was , I just left that part out
Even though I remembered every detail to the drink he had down to the way he curved his lips whenever he said "Luna"
"Lord knows that man is sexy as hell." She spoke remeniscing
"Yes indeed ." I said agreeing with her
His caramel skin, plump pink lips ..and that accent .
Lawd Jesus we can't forget that sweet southern accent that he pulls off oh so well
"Are you coming over so that we can finish the assessment?"
"Damn I totally forgot, but I have practice ..I'll get here early and even do some at home so that it'll be finished."
"Okay, that's fine..my stepsister's coming to visit too..God how I hate that Bitch ." She muttered
I laughed and glanced at her
"What ? I didn't know you had a step sister ."
"Thats cause I don't like talking about her..She's so..what do you call it.. thottish."
I looked at her and couldn't stop my laughter
"Whats her name ?"
"Natalie."

"Nah Baybeh , you gotta lightly stroke ...and then kick tah' pull it off." Mr. Alsina spoke from behind me moving my arms
We were the only ones in the practice room and I was enjoying every second of it
"So..like this ?" I demonstrated
"Like this.." he spoke adjusting my arms and hovering over my short frame
I could feel his minty cool breath and I couldn't stop my cheeks from heating
And my lower region tingle
I did as told , but part of me wanted to pretend as if I didn't understand just so he could "teach" me again
"Great..nie' get in tha water and try it."
I hopped in the water and did exactly what was taught
"Excellent !" He shouted making me smile
"Nie' ..I gotta job fah' ya'.."
"Yeah ? What is it?" I spoke climbing out and drying off
"I want you tah' teach tha' otha' girls that same move....'cause you tha' only one that ca' do it."
I swallowed my saliva and stared at him blankly
I didn't like being around anyone except my mom, Nicole, and Mr. Alsina
I rarely, rarely, rarelllly speak to anyone from the swim team
"W-what if they don't like me?" I stammered
He gave me a blank stare with his lips pressed together
"Why wouldn't they ? This a team baybeh , we all family hea' ain' nothin' tah' be scared of." He spoke giving my shoulder a light squeeze

"Aight y'all listen up !" Mr. Alsina shouted to the room buzzing with girls
I shifted my weight from my right foot and nervously bit my lip
"Miss Luna hea' gone teach y'all somethin' that I think just might win us the championship ."
The room immediately was filled with whispers and people staring at me
My mother looked at me and smiled and I gave one back
"Welp , Luna tha' floor is yours." He said stepping behind me
I glanced around at all the faces as they stared back at me waiting
"U-um, hi. I'm Luna for those of you who don't know and I'll be teaching you a few moves."
I smiled lightly and the whispering began again
I walked to the edge of the pool where the diving board was
"So..to start this move, you lift your arms widely to your side, bring your feet back.."
"hop off the board..flipping into the water and tucking your legs."
They all looked at me and a few hands were raised
"Can you show it to us ?"a light skinned girl asked me
"Of course.."
I took a deep breath, placing my goggles over my eyes and getting unto the diving board
I imagined I was the only one in the room and just like the old days
"You got this.." I heard Mr. Alsina mumble
I raised my arms and jumped into the water immediately feeling the cool water slightly sting my skin
I jumped and jumped like my life depended on it
I knew I had done a great job when the loud claps of my peers echoed through the gym
