" who wants to go first for the baritone " asked the band teacher. I raised my hand and he picked me. She told me to do horse lips ( horse lips is buzzing your lips really lose ) i did that and i did ok but she told me that she wouldn't recommend the baritone for me. I went and sat back down and waited for the next instrument.
Next was the tuba. She got out the 3/4 size tuba. I raised my hand and she called on me first again. She told me how to hold it and how to play it, horse lips again. I played and i sounded really good. When i was done she told me that i did excellent. Now i knew what instrument i wanted to play.
TIP
When u play a low brass instrument that uses a mouth pieces you always do horse lips ( buzzing you lips lose ).
