Mark's Pov
I sat in the park my mother used to bring me too and I enjoyed watching the children run and play. I was alone which I was used to and have been for a while. I lay my head on the back of the bench and close my eyes. Suddenly I feel sudden weight on my lap and around my neck. I opened my eyes only to see a green haired boy with ocean blue eyes and rosie cheeks. He quickly stood up and spoke in his beautiful Irish accent. It sent chills down my spine and I noticed he seemed to be blushing. We made eye contact but only for me to break it. I felt heat rise in my face and looked away. "H-Hi my name is Seán but you can call me Jack. I'm sorry about that...","Yeah I'm fine." I say as I stand up. "I'm Mark", I respond and stick my hand out. He shakes it and smiles. His smile is memorizing. He laughs as I wonder what he is laughing at. "Um Mark? You okay?" He questions. "Oh...um...pffft yeah totally why?!"."Umm because you're face is red and you're kinda drooling...". I wipe my lips in embarrassment. "It's okay don't be shy. It's actually kinda funny!" He giggled making my heart quicken it's pace. "Hey so do you wanna hang out? I was just planning on walking around when I tripped and you know the rest..." He looked down and blushed but tried to shrug it off. "Sure why not!" I reply excitedly. He looks me dead in the eyes and takes a step closer...he then pokes my nose and says "you're it!" And takes off running. I run after him with all my might. I have to admit he is pretty fast but not as fast as me. I eventually catch up with Jack and grab his arm. I suddenly stop and fall on my back. As I turn my head I see Jack sitting up laughing. "What's so funny?" "Nothing just the fact that you grabbed my arm and pulled us both down." We both start laughing at my stupidity. I felt like he was someone worth getting to know. After hanging out for two hours it started to get dark."I should start heading home Mark. It was nice meeting you!" Jack said with a slight bit of sadness. "Yeah...Hey Jack? Here" "What's this?" "I-its my number.. I want to get to know you better since you seem like a great person..." I answer blushing madly. "Oh thanks Mark! I talk to you later then right?" He says smiling wider then ever. "Yeah bye Jack" I say hugging him. Jack hugs back and we start to walk away in our separate directions. I turn around and watch Jack sadly walk away until he is no longer in view. I sigh and continue to walk home.
