It was a windy night, the shadows of the trees danced around the single life as the soft sound of rain danced on the roof. I watched as his blue eyes glistened amongst the light, showing no emotion as his lips slowly started to fade from their pink gloss. To capture the moment before the decomposing starts I grabbed the small bottle of eyedrops sitting on the darkened
dresser, and lightly try to preserve this oceanic color as the drops slowly took over. As the cleansing begin, my door shook with the rage and power.
Slightly annoyed, I got up to open it. But when my head made contact with a cold handle I can almost feel the warmth emerging from the anger that stood behind it.
"May I help you?" I asked politely, knowing this man wouldn't respond the same.
"What the hell is going on in there?!" His eyebrows seem to move with every motion as his mouth over exaggerated every word.
"Just enjoying the rain, sir." I responded sarcastically causing him to squeeze a fist.
"Listen bitch, I know you're hiding something in that shit you call a house." He attempted to peer over my shoulder but I blocked him.
"You need to leave." I gave him a stern look as he rolled his eyes. I close my door at a medium speed, unaware of what emotion to portray. I heard his voice down my driveway as he pulled out his phone.
I watched as he pointed to my house and then shut his door while screaming into his phone.
"FUCK" I yelled as I hurried to the inanimate body. His eyes still flashing the oceanic blue, I sighed the sight.
"Now no one will have you." I whispered smiling as a flash of my camera captured the breathtaking moment for the last time. I've been allowed the photo to develop as I kissed his lips. I put the photo and my small brown purse, before I attempted to lift the 6'4" weight off my leather couch. But as his 180 pounds shoved me to the ground I just took hold of his leg, which was almost longer than myself and drug him. As I started to work my driveway, my neighbor's television was loud enough to cover my heavy breathing and grunts, so no one suspected much.
After 15 minutes of undertaking and carefully watching, I finally got him in my trunk. As I ran back and I grabbed my purse and keys off my table then hurried into my car.
This departure would have to be quicker than I planned.
