Repeating the same day
over and over again
Like an alarm clock
That goes off then you
Click snooze and five minutes later there
Is that beeping again
I've always hated that sound
That beeping like mechanical
I've always associated it with hospitals
Electronic beeps like heart beating beeps
One two one two beep beep then nothing
Because that's what happens
It goes dead
They all are dead
I've always hated that sound
Whenever it's on tv i cover my ears
Or do my best to ignore it
Some people see that sound as good
As lives being saved
I don't I guess
It's all the in the way you look at it
I'm going home.
