today was my first day. my mommy didn't know we had uniforms.

people called me out on my outfit.

someone spilled chocolate milk on my polo sweater at lunch.

i told them it was okay.

they laughed with their friends.

i laughed with them.

one of them said they were laughing at me not with me.

i suddenly felt sad.

when i got in my mommy's car, my mommy asked me what was on my shirt.

it was chocolate milk.

she asked what happened.

i told her i spilled it.

she laughed.

i laughed with her, but then i remembered.

she's not laughing with me, she's laughing at me.

so i stopped talking for the whole ride home.
