I take a step back away from him, holding my wrist tightly as if it would stop the pain. I continue to look at him with caution while I walk further and further away, moving faster until I break into a sprint. Screw this I'm getting the hell out of here! I tell myself while I look straight ahead.

I start to slow down my paste until I'm at a complete stop. "Shit, dead end," I say while frantically looking around. To my left I notice a staircase. It's definitely my best option right now.

I start running up the first flight of stairs then pause to see if anyone was there. I continue to run up the stairs, looking back and forth. I take four more steps and slip on my fifth due to a strange sound.

I land on my back with my head crashing into the floor. I would've sworn my head made a dent in it. I yelp out in pain but cover my mouth, trying to force myself to shut up. "You seem to have hit your head. Hmm, a bit clumsy I presume?"

My head stings with an immense pain from the fall. I look up to a tall man standing in front of me. I quickly shuffle backward while fear starts to consume me. I open my mouth then shut it, hesitating if I should speak. "Who... are you?" I finish my sentence as I form my hands into a fist and clench them.

"I do believe I am the one who's supposed to be asking you that question," he leans down a bit. Is he scanning me or something? I start to pull myself up slowly.

"Thanks for the help" I mumble under my breath.

"Well if you fall, I see no reason for me to waste my energy on a human I just met." He crosses his arms over his chest while slightly leaning back. I finally stand up straight, still in pain and a bit dizzy. I don't get it, he looks human so why did he say 'human' as if he's not?

His height is definitely over average though. His hair is almost like a raven colour but leaning more towards black. I can't make out the colour of his eyes because this glasses keep shinning in my face. There's barely any light in the room though.

"Well are you going to answer me?" Oh, he's still talking to me.

"Sorry what was that?" I ask while shaking my head to get on track. Why am I apologizing to this weirdo anyways. He pushes up his glasses and begins to walk away not even answering my question.

"Wait! Where are you going?" I say and walk closer to him. He turns slightly then continues to walk away. I walk behind him now curious as to where he's going.

"Hey, aren't you gonna answer me? " I say while raising my voice, getting tired of this bullshit. After a few more moments of silence I stop following him seeing how pointless this is.

"This is stupid, you're not even going to answer my damn questions." I sigh while leaning on a wall.

"I never said I wasn't going to answer your questions, stop making foolish assumptions." He stops walking. "Now hurry up and stop making me waste my time." He starts walking away again as I run up behind him.

"So where are we going?" I say while pulling up my hood.

"You talk to much but if you must know we're going to meet the others " he says while pushing up his glasses once more.

"Oh I already met the little kid with the teddy bear so I don't need to see him again." I shiver a bit as I remember those large creepy eyes.

"You've only met me and Kanato. There's still Laito, Subaru, Ayato and shouu." he sighs.  That's a lot of guys for one house but then again this place is huge. Where are their parents? Should I ask? He seems like the type to get pissed off and ignore me or leave me if I need help later on so I'll stick on his good side, if that's even possible.
