You've been Reed's girlfriend for a week now, and you still cannot understand how you ended up with a famous singer. You never ever thought you'd make it there, yet here you are, standing next to one.

In your amount of time you've been his girlfriend, you've never been to one of his concerts or heard him sing in person. Whereas he had promised millions of times, in the past week, that you'd be able to hear him at least once sometime. He had yet to keep his promise.

"(Y/n), I really want to show you something, please. It's really important, and I know you'll love it. It's something that you've always wanted to do." Reed whined and began to pull you softly to the living room.

I pulled your wrist out of his grasp and fell onto your bed. "Not right now, I'm extremely busy right now, I have a few ideas already." You replied.

"Are you finished with one of them? I want to see it." He told you and looked over your shoulder, attempting to read your handwriting (which is really good).

You giggled and nodded. "Yeah, it's right here," You said and held up three pieces of lined paper, all filled with your amazing handwriting.

"Great, I want to see it. Can I try to sing it?" He asked, and you nodded in reply. He took it away and into his room, leaving you feeling sad because he wasn't going to sing it for you.

You, instead, carried on writing the second song. It was your second favorite, the one you gave him was your top.

About three minutes later, you heard Reed shout your name, over and over again, calling you to his room. Finally, you got up and went to go see what he wanted. You found him in his room, his guitar strapped over his shoulder.

"Yeah, what'd you need?" You asked, trying to hide your sadness from him.

"I wanted to do something for you, just for a few minutes. It's really cool, I promise you'll like it! It won't take long anyways. Just sit." He told you, and you did as you were told.

He smiled as he strummed a few strings, then began to sing.

I've got this feeling
That our love's just beginning to grow
Don't have to see it to believe it
It's a feeling you already know

Through the good and the bad, I will hold your hand
Fight for you, protect you, be all that I can
You've heard me say this before
But you're the only one I adore

You're the only one
These chains above remain unbroken
You're the only one
You know my heart's already spoken
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other

I sit here waiting
Can't wait to hear your voice when you call
No more contemplating, masquerading
Will you be my once and for all?

Always know I'll be there when tomorrow comes
Your beauty makes my heartstrings come undone
You've heard me say this before
But you're the only one I adore

You're the only one
These chains above remain unbroken
You're the only one
You know my heart's already spoken
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other

No sleep
Raindrops
Watch the clock
Tick-tock
Head spinning
Can't stop
At your door
Knock-knock
My heart
In a box
Sun-sealed
Padlocked
This is my one shot
This is our one shot

You're the only one
These chains above remain unbroken
You're the only one
You know my heart's already spoken
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other
Cuz there's no other, other, other

No sleep
Raindrops
Watch the clock
Tick-tock
Head spinning
Can't stop
At your door
Knock-knock
My heart
In a box
Sun-sealed
Padlocked
This is my one shot
This is our one shot

You're the only one
You know my heart's already spoken
Cuz there's no other

You smiled and wrapped your arms around him, almost close to tears. You hugged him tightly and pulled away slowly. "That was so amazing, Reed. I can't believe I've never heard you before, your voice is so beautiful." You whispered and smiled.

"Well, I can't believe I've never let you hear me. It's such a shame!" He said and smiled back, almost close to tears as well.

He hugged you again.
