A group of eight friends sat in a circle in their apartment's living room. "Well, I'm bored," began Kokoro, breaking the silence. Her cat ears were relaxed and her tail swaying in a bored motion.
Juuzou folded his legs and put his hands around his ankles. He leaned his whole body backward a bit. "Haha, so am I," he chuckled.
"Juuzou, you're always bored," Akane added.
"Haha, you're right about that," Juuzou replied, "There's also never anything to do here."
Mika and Ryuko rolled their eyes at him. "He gets bored so easily," thought Mika.
"I want pie," Kokoro stated out of the blue.
Yukki perked up at this. "Ooh, so do I," he responded.
K came back to reality after he heard "pie". "I like pie," K added.
"Do we all want pie then?" Rin asked the group.
" YES, " the eight teens replied.
"Okay then, let's eat some pie," Ryuko chimed in happily.
"Wait!" Rin stopped them.
"What is it, Rin?" Mika asked her.
Rin looked down at her feet as if she were a guilty child, "We don't exactly have any pie. I have to make some."
"Oh. Is that all?" Kokoro asked her, "I can help you if you'd like."
Rin lifted her gaze from the floor and set it on Kokoro, "Yes, that would be great," she answered smiling.
Mika raised his hand slightly, "I'll help too."
With that, everyone went to their rooms, except Rin, Kokoro, and Mika. After a while, Juuzou and Ryuko started playing hide and seek.
About an hour or so later, the pie had finished cooling. Mika called everyone to the kitchen for the pie eating to commence. Akane wasn't coming downstairs. Everyone thought she was reading a book and decided to send up Rin and Juuzou to scare her and get her to come down. Juuzou was the one elected to actually enter the room and scare her.
Everyone else was waiting down in the kitchen. Kokoro started trying to grab the pie, but Mika wouldn't allow it and slapped her hand away.
Yukki looked at him in disapproval,"That was uncalled for," he said, breaking the silence.
Mika turned himself toward Yukki, "Not as uncalled for as your jump off the roof last month," he spat back sassily.
Yukki stared at Mika in silence. He got up from his chair and laid face-down on the floor, without speaking.
Mika clapped his hands and pointed at Yukki, "Yeah, you stay on the floor!" And since he was sitting in a swivel chair, he kicked the ground a bit and rolled a little ways away, spinning with his arms in the air above his head. Ryuko, Kokoro, and K burst out laughing, for how amused they were by their friends' argument.
Meanwhile, Juuzou and Rin were outside Akane's room, plotting a way to scare her. When Juuzou entered the room, there was silence for about five seconds. Then a scream, not a scream used to try and scare someone, but a real scream, a scream of horror. Rin decided to go in. She was worried. Scared actually. She entered the room. Her eyes widened at what she saw. Akane was lying on her bed, her arms bent close to her sides, one of her legs was hanging off the bed. Her eyes were wide open, her mouth was open slightly, as if in shock. Drops of red stained the open pages of her book. There was a stab wound, perfectly in the center of her chest. A message was written on the wall in blood, "This is why we don't leave our friends alone." Rin's eyes welled with tears. She screamed. She fell to her knees and sat on the floor. She broke down crying.
this is something i had to write for school but even though i turned it in already, i want to add more to it
