A walk through wonderland ( EXO short story )

As I woke up, a huge storm greeted me outside.

Great. -.-"

It's almost Christmas yet it's pouring cats and dogs.

Stupid global warming. -___-+++

I sluggishly walked into the bathroom to freshen up. I changed into a simple white dress with a black ribbon encircling the waist area which is knee-length by the way and a pair of black ballet flats. I left my long, wavy, brown hair as it is, naturally falling behind my shoulders. I took a final glance around my room and closed the door

I walked through the hallways, hearing the painful silence in every corner of the house. It wasn't always like this when Christmas comes. Before, every room was filled with laughter and joy and the wonderful smell of roast turkey and Christmas pastries flew through the air. But now, not a sound can be heard, all because of me.

My parents died in a car accident, I was the only surviver. It wouldn't have happened if I just sat still. I shouldn't have held my mom's hand...I shouldn't have shouted my dad's name...

I didn't notice the tears falling from my eyes. I tried my best to stop it from falling, but it just didn't stop. Then suddenly, a pair of arms found themselves wrapping around my waist. I turned and saw a guy sadly smiling at me.

" please don't cry Alice. I know you're hurting, but let me help you carry the burden..." His words made me cry all over again. He kissed the tears away and stroked my hair until I stopped crying. Again.

" Alice, you know that I'll always be here for you. " he kissed my forehead. " and will always love you even when the whole world's against you."

He gave a peck on my nose, on my cheeks and finally, on my lips. He never failed to make my heart flutter and make me smile. When he pulled away, I immediately hugged him, burying my head on his chest. He kissed my hair and returned the hug.

" hey luhan. How the hell did you got in--" I didn't get to finish my sentence because, when I looked up to see his face, he already disappeared.

" he was just hugging me and then...how?" I thought. I looked around. He couldn't have run away, or I should've heard him. I wandered around to look for him when I heard music being played. I followed it into my room. When i got there, no one was inside. Then, I finally found where it came from: inside my closet. I pushed the hanged clothes away and found a window.

A window? Seriously? -.-""

I opened the window and found myself standing in a room. It was cozy. I scanned the room and found myself staring at the bed. There I found a guy with a baby brown-haired poodle. the poodle was playing with the pillows, pulling on them like there's no tomorrow. one word to describe him:

Cute X333

I let out a small giggle and immediately put my hand on my mouth. He looked my way. then, he stood up, not letting his gaze shift away from me. He carried the poodle with him and slowly walked towards me. Me hugged me and snuggled comfortably between my neck and shoulders. He let out a small sigh of satisfaction before reluctantly pushing me away. He had a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.

" can't believe you'll visit me Alice."

" I didn't plan on visiting you dork. How the heck did you get a room in my--" I didn't get to finish my sentence yet again because he suddenly kissed me. His kisses felt heavenly. Heat found itself on my cheeks and I slowly pushed him away.

" like that babe?" He smirked.

" stupid, perverted Kai" I stuck out my tongue. He chuckled.

" here. For you." He handed me the puppy. " take good care of him. Oh, and always remember me when you see him." He winked.

"So cute..." I cooed. I didn't pay any attention on him. How could I when this adorable little puppy's being so cute and huggable. I pressed my nose against the furry bundle of joy's nose. He gave a small sneeze. I giggled. When I looked up at Kai again, he had a small frown on his lips. Maybe I should tease him? >:)

I gave the puppy a kiss and he snuggled closer to me. I could see the jealousy on Kai's face. How childish...

" hey, stop spoiling him, spoil me instead." He pulled me close to him. I could feel his breath near my ears.

" you're mine Alice..." He whispered. I closed my eyes. Then, like luhan, he suddenly disappeared.

" maybe this is a dream?" I thought. To answer my question, the little puppy licked my cheeks. It's like he was reassuring me that everything's real. I smiled at him.

" hmmm...what should I call you?" I asked out loud. Then, I thought of a perfect name. " cinnamon. " I smiled. He wagged his tail in agreement. I stroked his back and ruffled how hair. " cinnamon it is."

I left cinnamon on the bed and headed out the door. Im not going back just yet so i went through the door on the other side of the room. It was the living room. I saw another guy crouching down on the mini Christmas tree he was rearranging. The tree was until my shoulders. It was so adorable. I silently walked across the living room, tiptoeing pass the sofa and saw the chubby-cheeked xiumin fixing the last minute presents under the tree. I crouched beside him but he didn't seem to notice me. So I leaned near his ear and whispered,

"Baozi"

I saw him go stiff and place his hand on his heart. When he saw me, he heaved a sigh of relief. I laughed.

" don't do that again Alice. You almost gave me a heart attack."

" sorry. But you didn't really look like you got scared. I mean, you didn't fell head first on the carpet like last time. " I snickered. He blushed.

" I told you not to make me remember that time. How embarrassing. " he pouted. Without thinking, I pinched his chubby cheeks.

" auwwwwwww..." He moaned. " it hurts Alice. Stop it already." He pushed me on the carpet. I froze. I didn't know he was that strong. My heart suddenly beated faster. Why are you doing this to me xiumin?

" you're so pretty Alice...why can't you be mine? Just mine? " he whispered. He leaned in closer, his nose already touching mine. Then, he planted soft kisses down my neck. I can't help but melt in the carpet.

When he got his senses back, he abruptly stood up, his face really red. He crouched down and tried hiding his face. Which of course, failed.

" s-s-sorry about that Alice..." He stuttered and looked away. I stood up and crouched in front of him. I gave him a peck on the cheek.

" Pabo baozi, it's alright. You--" the next thing I knew, he was gone.

I scratched my head, stood up and walked around the room. Why the heck do they disappear immediately when they do something to me?! -___-+++

Anyway, the room only has one door. No windows, no exits. I tried listening to any sounds and heard a soft melody of the piano. The same one I heard in the hallways before I found the window. I followed the music and, surprise surprise -___-

The sound's coming from under the sofa. Jeez, why am I not surprise =____=
