The first thing I decided to do was RUN. I had to run away as fast as I possibly could. I couldn't stay and put anyone in danger, so I packed up my things and sped away in a black motorcycle.
My name's Amber Zar-El, and I'm a seventeen year old runaway from the destroyed planet of Krypton. My family immigrated elsewhere when danger presented itself. Fed up with the way things were going for me, I ran for my own self preservation.
I managed to track down my distant cousin, Kal-El, or Clark Kent in more known terms. He showed me the ways of living like any ordinary human being. To society, I was one of his distant cousins staying in town.
I turned out to be a neon light for trouble after my arrival to Metropolis. Someone named Lex Luthor had been very observant of my cousin and troublesome long before I arrived. Needless to say, my arrival turned his full attention towards me.
And then, there was that day where death became a known concept in my mind, changing everything for me. I packed up my things, left a goodbye letter, and fled town.
From there, I already had a destination in mind as I tore through the roads on my motorcycle, in hopes of regaining a sense of safety and security.
