"Have you seen marking like these before?"

"N-No sir, I've never seen a marking like that. What is it?"

"I don't know either...But I have a feeling that these marks are..." Kello paused, "I don't like to admit it but they seem otherworldly...like...demonic."

Jonas chuckled as he responded, "Heh, I'm sorry, sir, but isn't that going a little too far? The whole idea of the supernatural is just a bunch of bullshit created by young teenagers."

Kello didn't seem to laugh at the matter, he blankly looked at Jonas, then spoke, "I know we live in a world where science is everything but let me ask you this. When you look at this, what comes to your mind? Because to me, this looks like something that has come from a whole different world; there's no way something like this was made by humans."

Jonas swallowed his breath at the thought, he realized that Kello had a point about that one fact and it started to get his mind thinking

Jonas swallowed his breath at the thought, he realized that Kello had a point about that one fact and it started to get his mind thinking. Kello stood up as he placed his hands on Jonas's shoulder. "Tell officer Gaston and Noah to take pictures of the corpses and the mark. After you've informed them, follow me, I'll be on my way to interrogate the witnesses," Kello spoke as he exited out of the kitchen and went ahead outside.

Kello began approaching Nathan as Jonas quickly followed along, ready to take notes. Nathan sat at the back of the police vehicle with a blanket wrapped around him as he stared the ground, lost in thoughts.

"Nathan, answer me truthfully. What happened in there?"

Nathan didn't answer, he kept looking at the ground and in a trance.

His uncle knelt down and placed his hand on Nathan's shoulder, "Nathan..." He looked up at his uncle, eyes wide with a strain like he hasn't blinked in a long time. Kello let out a quick exhale as he pulled out a case from his pocket, then dipped his fingers slowly upon his eyes and pulled out his contact lenses, placed them in his case. "It's alright, I'll believe everything you say. Please, just tell me what happened."

Nathan took notice of his uncle taking off his contacts. He inhaled a little, hesitant then spoke. Nathan began explaining what happened during the whole incident, he stuttered and shook with each word and took pauses in between his sentences.

Kello could see the look in Nathan's eyes, they could never be false, there was real fear inside him as he explained what he saw, and Kello began to understand. Nathan was also the one who called out for help, to Kello, it wouldn't have made sense for him to be the murderer.

"-But..." Nathan paused, "I-I don't think she was herself back there. It was like she was possessed or hypnotized. I don't know how but she just wasn't herself! The only reason I began attacking her was that I was angry from feeling the intense pain, I hated it and I just wanted to punch someone, I...lost control..." Nathan averted his eyes.

Kello understood what Nathan was trying to tell but it brought up many questions. He gave a smile and softly rubbed Nathan's hair to comfort him, replying, "I understand. You don't need to worry. Just stay put, your uncle will fix this."
