I walked towards the unknown. Dark grey clouds covered the sky like a wool blanket and hid the light rays of the full moon.  The air was cool and creepy and all around me I saw nothing but a forest full of trees and shrubs. It was raining but it wasn't ice cold as I had expected; on the contrary, it burned my snow-pale skin, causing burns. I started running to find a place to hide the disturbing feeling that someone is following me, and to avoid the burning rain.

I saw a wooden hut in sight; I did not waste my time. I ran straight toward it and even from a distance I could see that it was covered with moss. It looked like the fraction of my breath might cause the hut crash. As I approached closer each time, the oppressive feeling grew stronger. I quickened my steps, and only when I reached the doorstep, the rain has stopped.

I tried to open it, but in vain, the door was stuck like someone is leaning against it on the other side and trying to prevent me from entering. The heavy feeling was so strong that I started to get nervous. I kicked the door. "Please! Let me in!" I cried and for some reason I did not recognize my own voice.

I suddenly felt that someone is standing behind me.

I turned around and immediately felt arms grabbing me. I fought the person who held me, my vision became blurred and I couldn't recognize his face. I tried to scream at him to leave me alone but he begged me to shut up, his arms around me tightened. He gripped me with one hand and covered my mouth with the other.

Someone screamed.

Was it my screaming? No. I think not.

I felt the grip of the Unknown releasing me at once, so I ran out toward the woods.

I don't know where exactly, the main thing I could think of is how to escape away from this madness.

I ran as fast as I could, I felt my legs become lighter. Every step I heard a strange clicking sound.

When I tried to stop I felt something cracking. I looked down, and saw bones.

I did not see my feet, but a pile of bones in pieces. I tried to scream but I couldn't breathe.

A few moments later I felt someone breathing down my neck. But it's probably the chilling wind that never left me since the moment I ran away from that man.

I kept crawling with my elbows, ignoring the fact that my legs were left behind.

Suddenly I noticed bare feet standing in front of my face. I looked up and saw a boy about my age. His black hair whipped his pale face because of the cold wind.

He looked at me with his dark eyes and an evil smirk that made every inch of my body - or at least what's left of it – to shiver.

He bent down and leaned over, stroking my cheek and his scent was intoxicating and mesmerizing. I knew it was a dream, because it can't be my twin brother standing here in front of me. He died years ago!

Suddenly he pulled out of his pocket what looked like sharp silvered wire, and wrapped it around my neck.

I felt a sharp pain that made my breath stop at once. Suddenly I felt my eyelids weighing on me.

And now all I see is a complete darkness.
