Two people... two completely different worlds apart. My mother once told me opposites attract... but honestly, I beg to differ. Actually to be completely honest with you, I'm beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to find that person at all.

It's early days yet, after all I'm only sixteen. I know I tend to exaggerate, but I thought I'd found the one. Yes; Allistair. My boyfriend for three years who, as predicted, ended up getting bored of me therefore decided to shag another girl.

So yes, here I am, sixteen years old with a few friends and a life full of sadness and boredom. Great.

The school bell rang and I held my books tightly whilst barging past the irritating children in the corridor. Year twelve had started. The first year of sixth form is supposed to be the drinking and partying year, but again... I doubt I'll be doing any of that this year.

Philosophy, history, and music. That was my thing- always had been. Therefore I decided to take those three subjects at A-level. The only down side was none of my friends had taken these subjects.

After registration, where I met some pretty nice people, the first bell rang to go to my first double lesson of philosophy. The posters around the wall made the class look pretty great... but then, I glanced to the left, and felt as though I wanted to puke.

Yes, it was Allistair.

'I must be cursed.' I said to myself, slamming my bag down on the floor and sitting on the empty seat, and the only seat left, which was directly in front of Allistair.

'Hey, Jorg...' Allistair gave a faint smile, acting like nothing ever happened between us.

'Don't talk to me.' I gave a sarcastic smile back, then faced the front board.  It was at this moment that I knew it was going to be a very long two years.

My first lesson of philosophy wasn't too bad, though. I had Allistair nagging behind me... however everyone else was pretty nice. I knew briefly who some people were already, but there was this one face that I'd never seen before. He sat to the left of me. He had gravy brown hair, and eyes that told a thousand stories. There was something mysterious about him as he never spoke.
