Funeral

Kai's pov:

Holding my head down I whimper. I can't belive he's gone. Just a week ago we were watching the game together. What happened. I dropped to my knees letting the tears I'd been harbouring go. I felt my mother's hand on my back.

"Pa" I chocked out. I made a fist and slammed it against the ground. "Pa". I whispered once more to myself.

Standing up I chew on my bottom lip and look down at my Pa's face. A soft smile on his face. I placed my hand on top of his. A single tear fell onto his suit. "Guess it's time to roll out huh Pa." I smile.

~10 years ago~

"Daddy, Daddy it's starting!". I yelled excitedly.

"I'm coming precious". He said laughing. Sitting on the couch me began to sing the Tranformers theme song together.

"TRANSFORMERS, ROLL OUT!", we said in unison. I hugged my Pa tight and smiled.

"I love you Pa".

"I love you too Kai".

~present day~

Closing my eyes I slowly walk away from Pa's casket. My mother trailing behind me.

Sitting down I run my fingers through my long curly hair.

"He loved you very much Kai",my mother spoke softly.

"I know Mama".

The one man that had always been there for me. That has done everything for me. The man that made me into the woman I am today is gone. What am i going to do without my Pa?

~a week after the funeral~

Walking home from the tattoo shop, I smile and look down at the transformer logo on my middle finger.

I'll never forget you Pa.

Sliding my key in the door,I unlock it and push the door open. Walking towards my room I turn on the light only to find an unfamiliar figure sitting on my bed. My eyes widen.

"Who are you?" I ask petrified.

"Oh,didn't realize you were home. Nice to meet ya! I'm the demon your father made a deal with to keep you alive. As part of the deal when your father dies I go to you and I stay with you for the rest of your life."

My brows furrow. "The hell are you rambling about?".

"I had a sense you wouldn't believe me. Remember when you went into a coma after that car accident when you were 12. I was coming to retrieveand devour your soul but your father made a deal with me. I got to stick around your father and when your father dies I got to stick around you for the rest of your life,then your child's live and so on and so forth"

"What the...how do I know any of this is true? How do i know your not some crazy stalker?".

"I didn't want to have to do this but since you dont believe me". 

The man took a step back and a pair of beautiful gray wings sprouted from his back. I gasped astonished.

A pair of small gray horns sprouted on top of his head.

"You're.... You're a-

"Yes, yes I know I demon,we went through this"

Unable to fathom what just happened I fainted.
