I will not lose her, I swear it

I sat at my desk doing paperwork and sighed softly, When was Grell going to realize it was me, never knowing my luck. I face planted on my desk. I sighed and started to do my paperwork and finished an hour later. I smiled gently and got up a bit tried, I didn't have any souls to reap so I could go home and take a nice nap. I sighed and had the sudden urge to go visit the manor, I smiled at the thought seeing if I could find anything else. I went home and changed into a more normal outfit and not a suit and went to the old manor.

I looked around, I felt as if someone else was here other than just me... Who was it? I went to my old study and noticed the desk was gone and replaced with a chair with chains.

"Oh, milady! You weren't supposed to come here so soon, ah well," I heard Skylar, I whipped around and gasped as I was hit upside the head and knocked out.

Grell's P.O.V

I went to the library and looked around to see if I could find (Y/n)'s record, It's been so long since I dared look at it. I wonder what she has been up too, I wonder if she has been looking for me just as hard as I have been looking for her, everyday at work I will sometimes take a looked around not finding anything sadly. I went over and found it and snatched it up and started to read. My eyes widen. N-no, t-this c-couldn't be. I-it's been under my n-nose the w-whole ti- I passed out from pure shock.

I sighed softly and walked into my bosses office, what did he want now.

"Grell, we have a mission for you," He said and I nodded.  He put a folder on the table.

"Lay it on me" I muttered, I was a paid assassin, I was moody and had a short temper plus Bi but, I was good at my job.

"we have someone who wants a nobleman daughter dead, her name is Ashley Theise" my boss said, 'Sadly her father only lets the most trusted servants even near her so you are going to need to be a butler to kill her"

"WHAT!?! I REFUSE TO BE A LOW LIFE SER-' he tossed a bag of gold on the desk.

"this is how much you will get plus another one after you kill her," He said looking me dead in the eyes, I sighed and nodded, that was so much cash, I couldn't just pass it up. I nodded and got up. I took the folder and went to the Theise's manor.

I noticed a line of men who looked fancy in suits, they are probably wooing trying to get the hand of Ashley. I sighed and after two hours they all left. I walked in.

"Who are you? you look like a common peasant if you are coming trying to woo my daughter I refuse!" Her father or my guess exclaimed, Why couldn't I just kill him and kill the servants, right I have no clue why but we were only allowed to kill the target, no one else.

"i have come to be a servant sir' I answered trying not to snap at this noble, a common peasant!? I am so much more than just that! He nodded and clapped his hands and two butlers came and they saw me and now and dragged me off and tested me to clean, I did just fine,  I got the job! good, step one completely.

A week later I was cleaning and a girl came over in a maiden dress.

"Hello," She greeted. I grunted hello and she rolled her eyes grabbing a rag and started to help me clean. "you are new here correct?" she asked. I nodded, why was this girl talking to me. I'll give her this, she was kinda cute. She looked to be a year younger than me.
