Fact 31: The original design for the Millennium Falcon was much different then the one that is seen in the movies and is what we know as the Millennium Falcon today. The original design was long and cylindrical rather than the flat design we know now. George Lucas changed the design of the ship however one of the Millennium Falcon's early designs can still be seen on film as the Tantive IV Blockade Runner at the beginning of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
