Twilight Angel

Ch 1

(CLAIRE VIEW)

I giggled at Jose and Joel, my two best friends, talked about magic which we three had hidden within our bodies. "Alright, stop." I commanded as I scratched the back of my head gathering their attention.

"What for?" Jose asked irritated making my right eye twitch.

I sighed. "Look... No matter what you say, we will never be able to summon our powers like our ancestors did centuries ago." I told them.

Jose scoffed. "You're just afraid of your powers." He spoke in a mocking tone causing me to him a small glare.

Joel tried to simmer me down. "Claire, calm down." Joel said as I snarled at Jose. "Come on, Claire... Don't listen to that hobo."

Jose glared at Joel. "IM NOT A HOBO!!" He barked out.

I laughed whenn all of a sudden I felt a surge of power overwhelm my body that it made me let out a sharp yelp. I fell on all fours feeling my body pulse and start to transform.

"Claire!" The boys ran over.

But as they tried to touch me, I snapped at their hands. "Don't touch me or you'll feel the same pain!" I growled out trying to endure it. Suddenly, I lifted my head and howled transforming into a white wolf.

Another howl resonated with mine... A deeper howl than my own.

I opened my eyes to reveal blue orbs with black pupils. I got up and trotted towards the living room, which was empty.

The boys followed me, uncertain if it was me or not.

I sat in the middle of the room and waited... Waited for the deep howl once again.

The howl came is a high, medium, and low notes before it paused and repeated again as if it was waiting for me.

I lifted my head and copying the Temple of Time melody following the deeper howl of another wolf in a duet.

With my howling, a black swirling portal was created in front of me.

("Come to me... Dear Twilight Angel...") A voice called out from the portal seeming like a haunting melody which sent shivers down the boys spines.

Jose looked at Joel. "You heard that too, right?" He asked making Joel nod.

"Yeah..." Joel answered.

I lowered my head, got up, and trotted towards the portal.

"Claire!"

I placed a paw into the other side before stopping to turn around staring at the boys.

"What are you doing?" Joel asked.

"I am entering another dimension." I plainly said.

"And what dimension is that, huh?" Jose asked this time.

"The kingdom of Hyrule." I said before withdrawing my paw and sitting in front of the swirling darkness.

"And what, pray tell, are you going to do there?" Jose asked crossing his arms.

"My beloved needs me." I said without embarrassment.

"B-Beloved!?" The boys exclaimed.

"My dearly beloved... The Hero of Twilight... The Hero of Hyrule... needs me once more to protect Hyrule from darkness..." With that said, I turned and headed into the portal. "If you are concerned about my safety, then come on our journey across Hyrule..." I spoke into the portal making my voice echo across the void.

The boys seems uncertain, but then ran full force into the portal... Never looking back to see a shadow figure laughing mischievously before darting into the portal after us.
