Chapter 36

Lilly's POV

Dinner was really weird, Nobody really said anything, all we heard was the forks hitting the plates

Lisa kept trying make us talk, so they'll be some conversation, but it wasn't really working

My dad is still uncomfortable with Grayson in the same room as him or me

After dinner I helped Cameron with the dishes, while I was putting the cups I was thinking of something that couldn't leave my mind

"You can leave Lilly, I got the rest" Cameron says

"You sure?" I asked

"Yeah" she says

I put away one last cup, before walking upstairs, I was going to my room but I walked into Ethan's room instead, and close the door behind me softly

"Hey, did you have another nightmare?"he asked with a smirk

"No" I say

"Hey What's Wrong" he noticed I wasn't looking at him

I slowly look up at him "Ethan we gotta talk" I say

I sit next to him on his bed

"What's up?" he asked concerned

"I was thinking when our parents get married, we all are going to be family, it doesn't matter if its not by blood, but..." I trailed

"What are you saying?" He asked

"I'm saying I can't do this anymore, I can't have this type of relationship with you any longer" I say

" we can still be together, the marriage isn't going to work" he says

"I can't believe you just said that" I stand up and walked towards his door

"Please don't leave me" he begged

I didn't say anything, I just took a deep breath and walked out his room, closing his door

I go back downstairs to get a cup of water, but instead I noticed a plate full of food sitting on the counter

It must be Grayson, Cameron Must have forgot to give it to him, I picked up the plate it was still a little warm

I walked back upstairs, and to Grayson's door, I softly knock

"Come in" I hear

I open his door and walked in, and close the door behind me

"I was wondering when I was going to get my food" he says taking the plate out of my plate and sitting back on his bed

He look back up at me

"You Okay?" He asked looking up at me

"Yeah, I just don't wanna be alone" I sat next to him

"What about your best friend, Ethan?" He asked

"He's tired" I say

"Really, you guys use to fall asleep in each other rooms from talking all night" he says

" yeah, we got into a little disagreement" I say

"You wanna talk about it?" He asked

"No, can I just sit in your company" I asked

"Sure, but I don't want you to get in trouble with your dad" he says

"I don't care, I think its stupid, that he won't let me be in the same room as you" I say

"But I understand why, he won't , what I did was horrible" he said looking down

"You didn't do it on purpose" I say putting hand on his knee

"But I still did it" he mumbled

I sit on my knees and reach with my good hand to his jaw, to lift his face to look at me, his eyes locked on mine

"You didn't do it on purpose" I repeat myself

He put his hand on my cheek, pushing a string of hair behind my ear, he leaned in and kissed my forehead and pulled me into hug
