Chapter 19 • I Don't Know How But Kill Me Now!

"This feels like the first day of school all over again." Dylan huffed

"Why do you say that?" Tasia asked

"Her being like this." He answered

"I have a name John." I looked up at him

"Ok, Marnise being like this." He corrected himself.

"Your other name is John?" Tasia asked

"No she just calls every guy John." Jaden answered

"Just out of curiosity, what's your surname?" Leona asked me.

"Ooohh that's an easy one, None Of Your Business."

"Why are you being like this?" Alex asked

"Ooohh that's an easy one too."

"What's the answer?" Jordan asked

I took in a deep breath and replied. "I'm sorry if I seem uninterested or I'm not listenin' or I'm indifferent. Truly, I ain't got no business here, but since my friends are here I just came to kick it. But really I would rather be at home all by myself not in this room with people who don't even care about my well-being. I don't dance, don't ask, I don't need a boyfriend. So you can go back, please enjoy your party. So excuse me if I seem a little unimpressed with this. An anti-social pessimist but usually I don't mess with this. And I know you mean only the best and your intentions aren't to bother me. But honestly I'd rather be somewhere with my people we can kick it and just listen to some music with the message like we usually do. And we'll discuss our big dreams how we plan to take over the planet. So pardon my manners, I hope you'll understand it." The bell rang and I stood up first and I walked out of the cafeteria. I got up to my locker and I leaned on it and I breathed out a long breath to take in what just happened.

I had a free now so I just went to The Room to chill.

Those monkeys just tried to set me up with those girls. When they know very well I want nothing to do with them. Do they honestly think they can easily make me accept other people just because I let them in? First of all, there is one person in that little group of girls I don't like, second, from this little get up they tried is going to end badly and I don't want that happening. Those girls -except for one- have a bad first impression of me and now they will want nothing to do with me and that's the best thing that had ever happened when I was sitting there.

I opened by he door and I looked around to see if I was followed by anyone. I locked the door and I sat down by one of to the bean bag chairs.
