"Hey." Each of them greeted

"That's cute." I looked at them with a blank expression. "So?" I looked at all the boys.
"Sit down." Dylan suggested and shifted himself to make space. I took his offer up and I sat next to him.
"So are you new here too?" Roxanne asked
"No."
"Oh, when did you come?" Leona asked
"You would know if you actually looked around." I took out my phone to plug in my earphones and I listened to music, read a book and just pretended to ignore everything that they were saying.
"How did you guys ever get mixed into anything to find her? I haven't seen her around." Samantha asked. She said 'find' as if I'm some kind if object.
"Gym."
"Art."
"Home Ec." The twins chorused
"Why did you guys even bring her, she clearly doesn't want to be here." Tasia said.
Nice one.
"We thought you guys wanted to meet someone new." Jordan shrugged
"Is she here on a scholarship or something?" Leona asked
"We don't know." Dylan shrugged. Alex tapped me on my shoulder and I looked at him blankly. He put his thumb up, basically asking if I was okay and I shrugged looking back at my book.
These chicks are literally talking about me right in front of my face.
"I'm having a party this weekend, you guys are coming if you like it or not." Tasia smiled.
"Yeah." All the guys hand shaked each other.
"Will she be coming?" Samantha asked.
"Fuck yeah." Jordan exclaimed. "I don't go anywhere without my bestie."
"Okay." Samantha awkwardly nodded
"Why do you guys look all beaten up today?" Tasia asked
"Umm... We were sparring." Jaden lied. When he answered I looked at him with the 'really' look in my head.
"So Marnise, how is you day so far?" Dylan tried to spark some conversation
"Dreadful." I kept my eyes on my book
"I know right." Roxanne tried to make it seem like we have something in common
"That's nice." I looked up at her blankly.
They started taking about their own things and I wasn't paying attention because I was to busy reading and listening to The Chainsmokers to even notice.
"Why are you so quiet?" Alex asked me
"I have a lot on my mind."
