Chapter 1 (Lonnie Miller)

Lonnie's pov
I pulled up to school and walked inside. I went to the office, I got my schedule than went to my locker. "Hey, do you know where room 214 is?" I heard a husky voice ask. I turned and saw a chest? I looked up a little and saw a guy, he took off his shades. I realized how close he was, I looked down. I looked back at him. "Uh-it's down that hallway and up those stairs." I said pointing down the hall. "Thank you." He said I nodded and closed my locker. I actually have to go to that room. "You know, I actually have to go there." I said looking up at him. "Yeah?" He said I nodded. "I'm Lonnie." I said "Stefan." He said we walked up the stairs. I turned left and went into class. Stefan followed close behind, I sat in my usual seat in the back. The teacher made Stefan introduce himself. "Uh hi I'm Stefan Salvatore and I uh don't want to be here." He said I laughed slightly and he came and sat next to me. I started taking down notes, Stefan would look at me a couple of times. I would pretend not to notice. My friend Elena shot me a look, I sent one back. She pointed at Stefan and made a hot motion. I shook my head and laughed quietly. "She's quite amusing." Stefan whispered to me. I looked over at him still smiling. I nodded and continued my work. After a while longer class was up. I walked to my next class, someone bumped into me and my books fell to the ground. "Jerk." I mumbled has I kneeled down and started picking up my books. "Need some help?" I heard someone ask. I looked and saw Stefan, I grabbed a couple of my books as he grabbed the rest. "Thank you." I said quietly has he handed them to me. "You're welcome." He said "They didn't even say sorry." I said looking at the messed up pages. "Try to be more careful next time yeah?" Stefan said "Yeah." I said the warning bell rang. "See ya Stefan." I said than ran off to class before I was late. Stefan seems cool, a little mysterious how he's talking to me out of all people.
