Daytime- commercial fishing.

Nighttime- bouncer for local Hawaiian gentlemen's club.

Full time- slayer of demonic forces wishing to either enslave or destroy the human and heavenly worlds

can fly fast enough to break the sound barrier at Mach. 4 speeds; can withstand being slapped around by gods, dragons, her teammate Alex at full power, and can withstand the impact of Phobos(the Martian moon) coming down on top of her; has training using weapons from both heaven and hell, mastered a variety of sword fighting techniques from French fencing, Japanese samurai, and even native American short blade and spear, on top of being a protege of James Amadeus Riddle(see previous relevant chapter for bio); wings can be used as an impenetrable shield; superhuman reflexes

Weaknesses: Susceptible to PTSD like tendencies if introduced to severely traumatic triggers; right wing is extremely sensitive after being ripped off by a demon lord; still inexperienced in formal military tactics

Weapons: holy sword forged in the fires of both heaven and hell- can destroy demons, angels, false gods, gryphons, and dragons, but can not destroy a Sign; symbiotic chainmail and Titan alloy armor- can bend and weave with her body without obstruction of joints(can not be worn by normal people under any circumstances)

Synopsis: Was born from Cuban immigrants in the small Hawaiian town of Mau Lā'au Nui on the island of Oahu, Maria 'Ānela Ramirez was raised to be a complete world away from her parents' Cuban lifestyles. She adopted the customs, mannerisms, and speech pattern of the island natives and some from mainland visitors, which helped her in her early career of helping her father on his fishing boat. Along the way she grew to be best friends with a mainland boy that had transferred to her school, a boy named Michael. They were inseparable to the point of eventually falling for each other, and they dated for a combined three years before Michael wanted to ask her "the question".

But as it happened that they were coming home from a restaurant when a drunk Maria accidentally stumbled out into oncoming traffic. She eventually figured where she was and tried to cross to the other side, but a fast approaching truck, as if driven by death itself, was headed straight towards her. But Michael pushed Maria out of the way and took the full impact of the truck, and was dead before he even hit the pavement.

Michael's family blamed Maria for what happened and wanted to ban her from his funeral, but Michael's last will and testament stated that she had to go. During the reading of the will it was discovered that Michael was not a normal person but the Archangel reincarnate, born only a couple of decades before the rapture was set to occur. With no one else to turn to, Michael relinquished his duties to Maria and wiped the memory of his existence from anyone else who had ever met him.

Marisa now takes control of her new responsibility as not only chief general to the armies of Heaven, but she has joined a team of extraordinary people to fight forces even beyond the age old struggle of angels and demons.
