The taxi arrives at your door, you finish collecting your last couple of things and look around at your empty room.
"STELLA! WE'RE GONNA MISS THE PLANE!" you hear your mum call from down the hall. You've never moved before, let alone overseas. You grab your suitcase and run out to the cab, closing the doors behind you. You take one last look at your little London apartment before jumping in the car and speeding off to the airport.
You rush to find your gate as you hear "Final boarding call for flight JQ648 to Sydney, Australia" blast over the loudspeaker. You make it just in time and see the utter look of relief on your mother's face.
Once on the plane and safely in the air, you begin to wonder about all the different possibilities that Australia has to offer, a new school, a new town and a whole new life! You wonder what the people will be like, whether you'll have nice neighbours, peers etc.
A rush of sudden turbulence distracts your thoughts as your whole body tenses, your mother looks over, places a hand on your knee and tells you to try and get some sleep. You nod and close your eyes as the next thing you know, you'll be in Australia.
