Have you ever wondered what it's like to be an outcast. I should introduce myself. I'm Lucky. I'm called that by everyone considering my luck. My parents aren't divorced or dead or hate me. Which is lucky because the rest of the Toxic. Has those kinds of parents. I'm not completely alone. I have a group of friends. We're called the Toxic. Mostly because we aren't "Normal". We dress in sweatpants with blue shirts and hoodies. Also we like a sour candy called Toxic waste. Hence our name.

Normal. What does that word mean. This is Excatly what I was thinking about when I heard metal clang agianst my steps and a knock at the door. This had to be Scooter. Scooter was a tall strong athlete. Tan and smart. We called him scooter because his mode of transportation is a scooter. That boy can ride a scooter like no body else. He can do tricks and flips and everything.

I opened the door to let him in.

"Wassup Scooter" I stated.

"Nothing. Just riding around and figured I stopped by. Hey have you seen switch?"

Switch was the scary one of our group. He was tough and wasn't scared. He had long hair and carried a switch blade. That's why we call him switch. He was also Scooter's best friend.

"Nah. He hasn't come over today. Shit wonder if he's at Twitch's

Twitch unlike switch was friendly. Considering his parents were divorced. He lived with his mom who is really nice but when drunk kicks Twitch out of the house. Twitch could not sit still and drank about 15 cans of red bull a day. He also talked to fast but we've learned to understand him.

I left my parents a note of where I was going and Scooter grabbed his scooter and I got my bike. We arrived at Twitch's and knocked. He answered the door almost immediately after I knocked.

"Heyguyshowareyoudoing" he said.

"Good good." Replied scooter. "Is switch here?"

Twitch's head bounced up and down. We walked inside and sure enough there was Switch on the couch sleeping. Switch slept all day and up all night. He didn't have parents anymore and spent most of his days at Twitch's or Scooter's. Scooter's mom had died a couple years ago. Death and tragedy weird enough. Brought us together.

"Poor kid" I said. "Barely sleeps."

Twitch's mom walked into the kitchen and Scooter winked at me. I woke up Switch and he knew what we were doing. We had this thing if we saw Twitch's mom go to the kitchen usually for a drink. We hide her alcohol so Twitch could stay home. We walked to the kitchen and started a conversation with Twitch's mom. Me and Switch grabbed the alcohol and ran to the back door and hid it in the garden.

Scooter and Twitch came out back. We all high fived while Twitch thanked us for being great friends. I had nothing to do but smile. Twitch was our little brother and we loved him. I ruffled his hair. And Went home.
