I walked out of the throne room having just defeated Nashandra, the Queen of Want. But soon I was stopped by the disembodied voice of Aldia."Many monarchs have come and gone. One drowned in poison, another succumbed to flame. Still another slumbers in a realm of ice. Not one of them stood here, as you do now. You, conquerer of adversities. Give us your answer." he rambled on but, I ignored his threats and exited the throne room walking back to Majula. Once I arrived I talked to Shanalotte as she explained my help was needed in Brume Tower. I agreed with her advice since she never led me astray and headed to Brume tower. But once I arrived I knew something was amiss. There was a horrifying creature that i had never faced before, It clung to the side of the tower with ease reaching out for me, Still in a shock of confusion it grabbed me and squeezed the life out of me, I passed out from the pain and wound up in front of a pale woman and a man.
Undead: "Where am I?"
The Hunter looked over at the undead and walks over towards him, drawing his weapon. It's the blade of a scythe in his hand, and the rest of the weapon is kept on his back. "You are in a place simply known as the Hunter's Dream."
The undead quickly springs to his feet shielding behind his small metallic shield wielding his greatsword focusing on the hunter. "Last time i checked I was in the Brume Tower before that... Thing grabbed me... What is this place the hunters dream? Who are you? Who is she?" he said pointing his blade at the pale woman. "Put your weapons down. I don't intend to do you any harm, unless you provoke me. After killing this massive beast on the cathedral bridge, I came back here and I could see the doll. I kill beasts and bring back these things called blood echoes, and in turn she somehow strengthens me. The Hunter's Dream is a small safe haven in this unforgiving world of Yharnam." The Hunter concluded as he looked at the undead. He sure looked rough around the edges. "From how you described her reminds me of Shanalotte. She is the Emerald Herald who acts just like the doll but with things called souls. She also kept me company during my long journey to reclaim the throne from darkness..." The undead finished examining both the doll and Hunter. The doll looked fake yet moved and the Hunter was slender more agile than most people I had ever seen. "Well, Yharnam is inhabited by beasts... Blood hungry monsters that just kill everything in their path. I purge these creatures from the streets, for it is my duty." The Hunter said as he sized up the undead. "You're welcome to rest here if you like." "Thats very kind of you but I just need a bonfire to regain my strength... Where is the closest Bonfire?" The undead asked the Hunter and doll looking down at his empty estus flask. "I know not of this bonfire. If I get roughed up, I use what's called a blood vial. Blood is used for everything here in Yharnam, mostly for healing. Here." The Hunter held out his hand and gave the undead 5 blood vials. The Undead took the blood vials in confusion. "Huh... Weird there are so many similarities between what I know and what is truth here... The name was Yharnam correct? Is that the name of the entire land or this certain part?" The undead questioned starting to grasp what had happened to him. "This is the Hunter's Dream. If you exit here, you will arrive in Yharnam. Trust me, it's not a forgiving place at all. If you wish to live, be careful and wary of your surroundings." The Hunter put away his scythe and flintlock pistol, not needing it at the moment. Finally, he had someone to talk to! "Well my home Drangleic is the same in all honesty. The multitude of creatures that populate the realm were horrid. So many ways to be dead in a single hit. Well then we should do pleasantries my name is Hikari." The undead said offering a bow to the Hunter sheathing his claymore and putting his Buckler on his back. "I am Corvus. It's a pleasure to meet you." He stepped forward and did his respectful Hunter's bow. "Hope we can work together and figure out just how the hell I got here. And how I can understand the differences between our lands." The undead said with a smile pushing his hood back.
