1:Backstory

You had always seemed to be part of the YouTube community, even from the moment you were born. Your family had been vloging since the start of YouTube uploading everything that happened in your daily life. When your family started vloging your were 14 everything that had happened to you had been documented online for the world to see. Growing up in a family like this had its perks as well as its down sides but you wouldn't change it for the world. When you turned 16 you started your own YouTube channel and soon had more subscribers than all of your family's channels combined, which was a lot considering your family's main channel had 10 million subscribers. Your family consists of you, your older brother by two years Jacob, your younger sister who was twelve Emma-Lee and a set of identical baby boys called Mathew and Archer along with your mother and father. With such a big family you always had something to do or someone to talk to. Your older brother also had his own channel and the two of you seemed to be two of the most subscribed to channels in the world, which meant that you were invited to lots of YouTube conventions and events. This year you were invited to not only Playlist Live but also Vidcon were you and your family had a panel with some other big family vloggers. Before you knew it your whole family were packed into the family van and driving to the airport to go to your first event. It took a solid hour before you were on the plane and ready to start your adventure.

"Y/N come and help me with the twins please." Your mother said as she struggled with one of the two toddlers seat belts. Your put down your bags and walked to the side of the car to see your little brother Archer smiling up at you. You couldn't help but laugh at his goofy face as you slowly lifted him up and out of his seat and resting him on your hip as you pick up some bags and walk to the hotel. The hotel that you were staying at had been fully booked out by YouTube for the events that you were attending. Every YouTuber you could think of was going to be there, from the most well known to the smaller ones just starting up. It had trimmed hedges and white pillars at the front of the hotel, making it look even more beautiful than it already was.

You followed your family inside, taking in all of the stone work inside. You put you little brother down and held his hand as you waited for your parents to book you in and find your rooms. As you were looking around the hotel, you started to spot some familiar faces walking around the entrance and lifts. Among them were your friends Doddie and Connie (AKA Noodlerella). Doddie spotted you and came running towards you with her arms stretched out for a hug. She embraced you in a tight hug before Connie came running up to you squealing before plowing past Doddie and straight into you for, yet again, a tight hug. "Y/N i haven't seen you in forever how have you been." Connie said after she had released you from her grasp. "Wonderful I can't wait to see everyone after such a long time. How are you guys." You replied smiling from ear to ear. "Yeah great but better now that your here. I can not wait to tell you all the things that have happened since last time we saw each other." Doddie said jumping up and down. You felt a small pair of hands grip you leg, you look down to see Archer still holding onto you and hiding his face from the others. "Oh Connie,Doddie this is one of my youngest siblings Archer." You said picking Archer up and placing him on you hip. Archer held onto your neck giving you a small hug as he turned his face away from the girls, which made Connie and Doddie awww in unison. "Well we have to go and find Evan hes bound to be lost somewhere, text us your room number when your all settled in." Connie said. As the girls left your father came up to you with your room number. Because of the lack of space at the hotel, each YouTuber had to share a room with one or two other people. You palmed Archer off to your dad, grabbed your stuff and headed to the lift to find your room. Your room was on the tenth floor which took awhile to get to because your lift kept stopping to let people in and out. The lift stopped on floor 8 and a tall, dark haired man who looked about your age stepped in. He smiled warmly at you and pressed to go to floor 10. You stood quietly in the lift trying not to look at anything in particular when you heard a crack as something hit the floor of the lift. You quickly flipped your head to see what the noise was when your saw a phone laying on the ground, the screen completely shattered. The man next to you had his arm stretched out as if he had tried to catch it. You looked up at him and tried to hold back a laugh as you saw his face. It was a mixture of complete confutation,anger and embarrassment. You both looked at each other and burst out laughing. "Sorry i shouldn't be laughing s-s-s-o hard." You said holding your stomach. "Nah its fine. I'm Dan by the way." The tall man stretched out his hand towards you. "Hi Dan I'm Y/N." You say taking his hand and giving it light shake. After a small wait the doors of the lift opened and both of you walked out and into floor 10. As you looked for your room, you noticed that Dan was walking just behind you and not stopping at any other rooms. As you kept walking down the large corridor you finally came to your door as you went to put your key card in the door your hand crashed into someones hand. You look up and relies that the hand belongs to Dan. You both share an awkward look and then Dan opens the door and guides you inside. "Well i guess we're room mates." He said.
