#6 Your daughter complains about him not paying attention to her

Harry:

Your 16-year old daughter groaned and sat next to you on the couch.

'What's wrong sweetie?' You ask and stroke her hair.

'Dad.' she says and crosses her arms in front of her chest.

'What's wrong with dad?' you ask.

'He won't pay attention to me.' she whines. 'He's been away for 8 months and now he won't even spend quality time with his daughter, he just sits behind the computer all day long.' you chuckle only to receive a glare from your daughter.

'Well,' you say as you get up 'let's make him jealous by going out and having some real fun.' Your daughter immediately gets up and grins.

'Best mum ever!' she says before hugging you

Liam:

'Mummy?' you suddenly heard while you were busy in the kitchen.

'Yes darling?' you asked and looked down at your and Liam's 4 years old daughter. The little looked up at you with her big brown eyes and was holding her stuffed bear tightly.

'What's wrong sweetie?' you ask concerned and got down on her level.

'Is daddy mad at me?' she asked.

'Of course not, why do you think that?'

'He's not paying attention to me.' the little complained.

'Daddy's very busy with writing songs sweetie.' you explain.

'Can't he do that while playing with me?' your daughter asked.

'I'm afraid not honey.' you said 'But you know what? We can make some cupcakes and then we can bring them to daddy.' you said in a cheerful tone.

'Yes let's do that!' your daughter said excitedly.

Louis:

'I hate dad!' your daughter said. You put down your book and arched an eyebrow at your 17-years old daughter.

'What did he do this time?' you asked. It was a very common thing of Louis to piss off your daughter.

'He won't spend time with me, apparently his stupid game is more important than his own daughter.' your daughter said. You sighed and stood up.

'Do I need to talk to him?' you asked.

'Knock yourself out, but I warn you, he probably won't even hear or see you.' your daughter answered.

'Oh I'll make make sure he's aware of my presence.' you said with a cheeky grin.

'Ew mum gross.' your daughter said which made you chuckle. In the end your plan worked and your daughter was very grateful for that.

Niall:

'Why is dad being so annoying?' your daughter asks.

'What?' you ask confused.

'Yeah, he's not paying attention to me, at all, what is wrong with him?' she answers. You chuckle and shake your head.

'Well, your father is very busy at the moment, he's working hard on the new album, the deadline is coming soon and his bandmates are very busy too,' you explain.

'Still, can't he like take a break? He's so annoying, he doesn't even acknowledge my presence,' your daughter sighs dramatically.

'I know the feeling honey, it was the same with me when your dad I were together and apart for a long time for the first time.'

'Cut to the part where you give advice mum.'

'Attitude.' you chuckle earning a smile from your daughter.

'Your dad is just really tired from all the traveling, give him a little time to be a zombie and he'll be giving you enough attention in a couple days.'

'Thanks mum.'

'No problem sweetie.'

Zayn:

'Dad, get the fuck up.' your daughter says while nudging her dad's shoulder with her foot.

'Language,' you scold your daughter.

'And he's tired, leave hime be.'

'So you want him to lay on the floor and ignore both of us fir the rest of the day? By the way, he's had enough sleep on the plane.'

'And he's jet lagged, he had to fly all the way from LA. Give him a break.'

'Fine,' your daughter huffs.

'I'll tell him to do something with you as soon as he wakes up, okay?' you sigh.

'Sounds good to me,' your daughter smiles.
