A/N: Chapter 4 contains steamy scenes. It's Ivo and Brandy's first night together. ^_^

***

I groaned and cracked my eyes open. I woke up on Ivo's chest. Scenes from the previous night came rushing back.

I cautiously picked up his arm embracing me and rolled onto my back.

Then I turned to him and watched him sleep, marveling at his face. His face was completely relaxed. He looked so innocent when he slept and the corner of his mouth twitched into a very small smile. He was kind of cute. I unconsciously ran a finger down his cheek. He wrinkled his nose slightly in his sleep. I couldn't help but chuckle.

He was beautiful and a gentleman. His gestures during our casual sex last night had been slightly reserved and cautious, as if he did not want to hurt me or cause discomfort. I blushed, I didn't know why. I shook my head and shoved away thoughts that threatened to overcome me. I got off the bed and quietly tiptoed around the room to find my clothes.

I heard him groan. I froze. I didn't want him to see me leave. I didn't want to explain anything. I didn't want any exchange of numbers. I didn't want a second night. I didn't want things to go too far, or for us to end up in a serious relationship. I've always been like this. I think ahead of time. I didn't want that kind of intimacy. I enjoyed being casual, liberal, and free.

I looked back and saw Ivo sleeping peacefully. He looked really handsome while he was sleeping. I leaned closer to his face and watched him for a couple of minutes because I may not see him again.

I left even before the dawn broke, whispering a goodbye.

I went back to the hotel hoping that my brothers were still sleeping. I tried my best to unlock the door as quietly as I could. But when I managed to open it, I came face to face with a visibly angry Heineken.

"Where have you been all day and all night?" He hissed. I opened my mouth to speak but was interrupted. "You didn't return here at the hotel last night. You weren't answering your phone. No one knew where you were!" He was trying very hard to keep his voice low.

I did not answer.

"Do you know how worried we were? You had us worried sick Brandy!

"I'm here now, aren't I?" I crossed my arms over my chest and looked even more irritated after I said that. Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

"We're not in Boston; you don't even know this place."

Sighing, my shoulders slumped and I said, "Fine! I'm sorry!"

"I know damn well that you were drunk last night. You did in fact make yourself a worthless bitch and screwed guys around Verona!"

"Ken!" Gin came out from his room.

I wasn't shocked, being so used to this kind of conversation with Ken. "It's okay bro," I told Gin.

I turned back to Ken. "I assume you're referring to my sleeping arrangement and I just want you to know that it's none of your concern."

Ken glared at me. "It's my concern when my little sister jumps in bed with some guy she's only known in less than twenty four hours."

"I don't give a damn! Just stay out of it!" I hissed.

"You're gonna keep spiraling. Keep screwing around. How do you think that looks huh?"

"Well maybe, I don't care until this genetic disease hits me! Then maybe that's the time I'll stop!"

We all fell silent.

"Brands sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay; you already made that part clear when you called me a bitch, brother dear. Well I'm Brandy Curtis, I'll suck it up I guess." I turned my back on them and walked inside my room.
